  1. Dug a photo out of me in 1984 with my first car. Purple mini 1275GT. Loved it to bits. Rabbitstew. I painted the rims white,my first mod and added plastic black wheel arch flares that werer fixed by screws !!
  2. It's a little different to bonnet vents, bonnet vents have a function not just looks. Thess were made for looks not function although they could be used without windows but unless its a tack car that would be the most ridiculous mod ever know to man. The original poster here has used them in the right way.
  3. Congratulations and welcome along Dan.Post some photos when you can. What are your plans ..
  4. Not being funny but removing the glass to fit them would be crazy.
  5. Mini 1275GT - 1984. Still one of my favourites because of the memories and it was my own. Paid £175 for it.
  6. Happy Birthday, you missed me by 1 day. Hope you are having nice day with Bob.

  8. Thanks for all your kind messages today friends.Another year older but don't think I will ever grow out of modding, loving these cars and this great community. Martin
  9. Can't remember.Its a Sparco one so just have a google play..
  10. Thanks The Bodyman,Veilside. Stu, pretty straight forward really. This is the process I used which worked for me as I struggled to find a clear guide to follow. Firstly you need to remove the oem leather cover on your handbrake.I did this by running a scalple down it but decided to use a cutting wheel on my Dremel as it was quicker that way.Once done with a bit of force you can peel the leather off completely. Next step was to prise off the rubber surround at the base of the handbrake.I think it is glued on so start it off with sliding a butter knife under it and then pull it hard to prise it off. Next step is to test fit the new cover.Because of the flared design of the rear of the handbrake its normal to have to cut a 2cm by 1cm opening on the underside rear of your new handbrake cover so it can push back far enough for the button at the front to protrude and function.I did this by wrapping the new handle in a cloth, putting it in a vice and jigging it out with my Dremel. Next job is refitting it and marking through one of the holes in the handbrake handle onto your handbrake to drill a hole to secure the new handle to the brake with the grub screw supplied.Nearly there. Finally. You will need to buy a handbrake gaitor.Got mine for a tenner on eBay.Refit the rubber handbrake base with superglue.Slide the gaitor over the brake.Screw the handle in with grub screw and pull the new gaitor up and over it. Job done.Might not be the best or right way but it worked for me.
  11. Thanks. Enjoyed watching that.
  12. Finished a little mod today I wanted to do before my seats are returned from their retrim with Si. For anyone who has wanted to do this but is a little nervous it really isn't that difficult once you have the courage to cut through and remove your oem leather one. You also need a dremel ideally, Matches nicely with my near gear knob too I think,
  13. Great to see things moving along Andy.Feels like watching them rebuild Steve Austin.Keep up the good work.
  14. on the ramp at RTP so you can see the underneath.

Rims look fine but if I am honest I don't like the colour, think you can do better but not sure which colour. Think you should ask for some photo shop help on here.
  17. Doris. Can highly recommend Ricey at Revolve (above) if you go down the hydro dip route. He dipped most of my bay for me. Photo of the theme and colour I went for on my engine cover below for you to see.
  18. Chance for a mod. Re-spray it in the same colour as your z or something different, Cheap mod.
