The "how to fit two golf bags in your boot" sticker may be the most useless piece of information I've ever seen You can do more than 450 miles on a tank if you behave yourself (Reading - Manchester - Reading, plus some pottering around = 422miles completed & 51 left on DTE) The door cup holders are useless for anything other than an unopened can. The blutooth adapter being in the middle of the central cubby box is very annoying! Stop wasting my space!!

I finally picked up my Zed today and I managed to get about an hour's drive in before it started raining (didn't fancy learning to drift on day 1 of ownership, sorry!), and I'm in love! Great power delivery, love the noise, handling, looks, etc. Love it. I was playing with the Cruise Control though, and noticed that 70mph on the digital trip display results in 75mph on the speedo - is this normal?! Also, I've always been immune to mod-itis, but I have already bought new 'z' dust caps, some black plastidip spray and I'm looking at getting a new gear knob too.... Whoops Anyway, hopefully see some of you around... Rich

Hellooo! I've just put a deposit down on a 313 GT, Silver, 2007 with 55k on the clock... I'll pick it up on Saturday for £9.5k after giving it another once over. The condition seems good; the gear knob is scratched, a couple of paint chips here and there, bit of kerb rash on the alloys but nothing you wouldn't expect really. It is totally standard (an iPhone holder has been added and thats it) with FSH, although a P3 is due very soon and the tax runs out in August... d'oh! The car will become my daily driver, but as I work from home a lot, it'll be more like my three-four times a week car. I'm not big on mods, but a stubby arial and some black plastidip on the bottom of the front bumper will probably be where I'll start I'm taking it on holiday to the Alps soon after getting it, along with an M3, for a long weekend of scenery and twisty roads... There'll be a Euro Road trip thread with lots of pics and videos to follow I'm sure I've seen plenty of people abused for not posting pics, so here she is... +1. Pretty sure all my degree did was get me my first interview, and that was mostly luck. At the risk off going in hind sight I'd have been (and I'm sure lots of other people would be, bar Vets, Doctors, etc) better off doing some industry-specific qualifications for 1/3 the money in just a few months (Did BSc Hons Computer Science, now design Wireless networks & Security stuff for a living). That said, the vast amounts of beer drinking, women, and getting paid to learn how to fly with the RAF during my holidays does make me not regret the debt too much

I feel sorry for the kids these days (lol, says me, at 28), took me long enough to pay off my loan, now they're racking up 9k / year! Hopefully those that were looking at doing "French History during the 1400s" or something simiarly useful for their career, will have the common sense not to!

You're getting a £10,500 bonus? You have no grounds for complaining! Just pay the lot off with it and have done!

The SLC repayment website is http://www.studentloanrepayment.co.uk.. They should have sent you two letters, one with your username and the other with your password. If you've lost them you can re-discover them via the website too. Failing that, they can also tell you the balance, accept card payments, etc.. over the phone. Even if If you do manage to get your employer to take less off your bonus repayment, if you do Self Assessment Tax they'll work out that you've underpaid and demand the extra money from you anyway; this happened to me a few years ago Just get it paid off, it's not worth the hassle... This is the last month of me repaying mine, can't tell you how good it feels to get it out the way! More money for the Zed-savings account!

I haven't even bought a Zed yet and I'm already spending money in my head about what mods I want!
