  1. Pay to win, tut-tut, lol. Everyone I know just uses the in game matches to build up enough gold to get into the Area.
  2. I kind of sort of fell into Mac's, I needed a new laptop but wanted a desktop, always wanted a Mac but thought they were too much £££. My mate is a Prof at Norwich Uni and gets a good discount so off we trundled down to Apple a few years ago and I got an iMac. Now, a few years later I have; 2011 iMac 2012 MBP iPad 3 Iphone 5 Apple TV 3 They all work very well are built to a huge standard and I'm happy with them. Apple TV is massively under used by myself but is good for the occasional AirPlay event. Anyway, most of the stuff that I knew has been covered off already but I have these two items for my iMac and MBP that are just great. Bose Companion Speakers for iMac These are the absolute business, they give massive depth with sharp clear highs, bass biased speakers from the off mind but really turn the iMac into a proper multimedia system now with this sound upgrade, plus - the little remote wheel is absolute class. All made from high end materials and all pieces have a significant weight to them which is always a good sign. Also has a headphone 3.5mm jack and a line in jack too on the remote wheel, which is handy. http://store.apple.c...55756b9bb9f0348 Incase 13" MBP bag This is very good also, although I have the light grey and royal blue trim version which appears to be discontinued now, this is exactly the same. Specially made for the MBP and all of its features I can't image anything better than this for carrying about your MBP, I sometimes have to use my MBP for work so this is essential for all your work stuff, only thing it doesn't do is carry the plug charger very well, it goes very bulky and strained if you squeeze the power pack into it, which is a shame. http://store.apple.c...acbook?fnode=50 This is actually my one, at my feet now, in the office. Where as I have to agree that stuff is expensive, it is very good, so where I had to initially lay out £200 for external speakers, I won't have to buy another set for a long time - potentially.
  3. Yeah, I got this, I had the BETA on my Mac too, kind of got, not bored of it, just didn't want to play it too much anymore or play other things. Still very good though and will run for a very long time at very high level.
  4. Yeah man, I was a moderator on Type-R-Owners and was active on all the Honda forums really. OEM EP3 is great fun on a circuit. Put some proper tyres on it and geo and you'll be laughing for hours. Been tempted to get another EP3, a few of us have really but it will just end up another money trap when the money spent should really just go on my 370 really.
  5. EP3's can't be far off that now.
  6. Nice write up. Glad you managed to achieve the sound you were aiming for. I find that after about 1000 miles new systems really settle into their tones and overall sound. Once they get there, comparing them to the sound when they were first installed, they sound very different. Also by 1000 miles you learn where all the pops and snarls are in the rev range .
  7. I put quite a lot of hours into LOL, I used to play as Ashe (AD carry) then one of the other lads would play as Annie, we had it down, last hitting like a boss. Not reaaaalllly something I would play by myself though, only really played it as a communal thing. Did enjoy it though. Not played a lot of stuff recently, although I did buy Metal Gear Solid:Ground Zero for my Xbox One, or rather I traded in some old 360 games for it and got it for free. It's good, short and can be finished in a liner fashion pretty quick, although that is factored into the £29 price tag. If you go through and play it in a number of different ways, there's a lot of value to be had, maybe not full price levels of content but a fun game, with various ways of going about getting the desired effect. It's been said that MGS:GZ is a prologue for the next game, a bit of a taster. Based on this, I'd probably say that I'd get the next 'Full' title.
  8. Still playing 'Out There' on my phone and iPad but I've been punching out the headaches on Forza again. Bit of Don't Starve and FTL too, the new free DLC expansion came out last week to for FTL, so that's got a whole new life again. FIFA too, loads of FIFA.
  9. I really need to get off my ass and get a GTR button ........
  10. 'Out There' on the iPad. Very good, very cheap, very hard, Rouge like space adventure. Take a look and give it a whirl .
  11. Stillen Gen 3's and about 15 other parts you have on that motor !!
  12. If you can't shift it as a whole, will you consider parting this out ??
  13. Stop spamming A when you die and choose to respwan on a team mate or at a friendly base. BF4 is one of the few games where you can actually choose where you spwan, so take your time and pick a safe place.
  14. I know MS are looking into doing discounts for digital purchased media (games). Starting with Ryse, it will soon be on offer for £35 as a digital download. Now, I know that right now, that's rubbish. But think in a few years there will be a decent selcetion of games on there that you can pick up like that at more realistic prices. The perfect senario is where you have the choice to go into town or order for delivery a cased Xbox One game for £49.99, or you can buy the digital license instead for £35 on release day from XBL. I think, we're a long way from that though .
  15. First time I saw and understood UT it blew my mind in half. Great game. That was the original UT mind you on the PC.
  16. Did you ever play Quake 4 ?? It is similar to TF, I've always said that. But then I played TF and the similarity ends there, it simply reminds me of Quake now. I don't know yet, I've only played the BETA for a long weekend. I think it's a step forward in terms of how your MP Competitive FPS are delivered, almost, just a matchmaking browser with very little or no SP story. It's nothing like Halo, or was trying to be I don't think. The only feeling I get of Halo is the medium ranged combat, the rest is nothing like Halo, the pacing, the weapons, vehicles, tactics... I think TF is important because it's trying something new, not because it's going to be a generation breaker in terms of delivering everything.
  17. **There That's interesting. I don't have a cable that I can connect my Xbox Pad to my console with.....
  18. South Park is funny but I don't find it funny enough to base playing a full game over. From what I've read, like you say, if you like SP you'll love this but the RPG gameplay is a bit shallow.
  19. Nothing I played on the PS2 is anything like Titanfall, let alone the engine and performance.
  20. Cool man. I'd like to see you get stuck into a Z34 to be honest . GTR though......
  21. Wow, £402, I had four figures in my head for some reason. Just need some intakes now.
