  2. What's a banjo string? And where is it on my Zed?
  3. The Gliptone conditioner also makes your leather smell like, erm, leather. So when you get in your car, the leather aroma hits you. Reminds me of that time in SMD's basement....
  4. Two GSXR owners from Bedford joined on the same day? Has someone been putting forum flyers in the local paper or the local bikers café?

  9. Gliptone Liquid Leather is good stuff. Not used it on Alezan myself though. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gliptone-Leather-Cleaner-Conditioner-Complete/dp/B006TH39TC/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1398254165&sr=8-8&keywords=liquid+leather+cleaner
  10. Removing this rev limiter is possible, but can prove very costly. Tampering with it isn't advised either, especially if it's not your own....
  11. I've written and deleted so many responses to this thread before posting, I've now given up. I'll simply say and if you are redlining your new Zed with very little RWD experience - Good luck Especially when it rains....

  16. Rickdon made mine which is pretty much full sized (apart from the air intake part) after I gave him a template. I tried wrapping it in carbon, then orange vinyl. Pics can be seen in Rick's thread here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/76538-hr-slam-panel-now-you-can-get-them-by-rickdon/page__st__20 Drop him a PM I'm sure he'll help you out.

  18. Note to self: Don't park next to Stu, his GM car is way cleaner and shinier than yours.....
  19. Thanks all GXXERUK - regarding the silver covers looking 'a bit tacky', they were the first things I ever painted, so I can assure you the paint is very dry indeed
  20. Thanks all, your input and comments are very much appreciated. I am inclined to leave it be. I just feel the need to do 'something'. Damn this Zeditis. Maybe I should take up knitting or something to keep my idle mind and hands busy. Hmmm. Hand knitted plenum, battery and brake fluid covers. There's a thought....
  21. Hi All, Been thinking about changing the bay a bit. I've a few options/ideas floating round my head (there's plenty of room), but can't make my mind up. So figured I try my first poll and see if you guys could help me make a decision. Here's my bay as it stands: I do really like polished plenums, but do not really have anything else under the bonnet that's shiny (apart from the bonnet catch), so think this may look a little out of place. Black and orange always works as a colour combo, so changing the colour from silver to gloss black on the plenum and covers is a definite possibility. Carbon covers for the battery and brake fluid covers would sit nicely with the carbon engine cover, but I'm sat on the fence with these (and they're a bit pricey). I do like it as it is though - and am I just looking to change it for the sake of it? Your thoughts please
