  1. So how is the sat nav unit actually fitted/held in place? What brackets are behind the unit, or is it simply wedged in or held in by witch craft?
  2. Haha, no. My engine bay was planned using MSPaint! I think your vision is far from crappy mate, it looks awesome Wow, thanks Gumpy Cheers Will There will some more to come very soon. Watch this space.....
  3. I tried it when I was there last - made my mates crease up laughing after I got my hand stuck to the top of the glass due to the suction when putting the flame out. We had already had a 'little bit' to drink at this point in my defence.... I'm back there in Feb, so will go armed with the lessons learned last time

  5. Cheers Cal. I think you may of inspired others with your recent Photoshopping! We did manage to get some great pics. Did you see the thread with everyone's pics? http://www.350z-uk.c...014-the-photos/ Maybe see you at Cosford this year then?
  6. to the forum Jim and congrats on your new Zed
  7. Hello and to the forum. Hopefully se you at a West Mids meet or few this year
  8. Drop MopedMark a PM mate. I made a boot divider for him with a Z that was illuminated using LEDs. They come on when opening the boot. He'll be able to advise where best to pick the feed up for your lighting
  9. Nice example Harry, look forward to seeing you and the Zed at some meets next year P.S. Your bonnet dampers are fitted upside down
  10. Hello and to the forum. One bit of advice that may not be in the buyers guide - Don't buy the Zed simply because it's conveniently located a mile away. If it's not a good 'un, walk away. There are plenty out there Good luck

    Bolt kit

M10 x 25-30mm should do ya. Note they're a fine pitch thread at 1.25 Edit: seem to be plenty on eBay and commonly used with Japanese motorcycles. Pack of 10 chrome washer based ones are £10. Shortest seems to be 40mm so you might need to cut a bit off.
  12. Thank you very much Adam for your kind words (thanks also for Jenny for joining the forum, just so she could send me a PM). I'm really glad I was able to get one made and sent to you in time for Christmas, [cough] sorry I mean I'm pleased Santa received Jenny's letter and the elves were able to meet her request in time to get it on his sleigh [cough] Haha, seriously, I'm really pleased you're happy with it Adam, please thank Jenny on my behalf for getting in touch. I hope you both had a great Christmas and thanks again Cheers, Ian

    LEGO!

If I hadn't already got a carbon one, I would definitely be making an engine cover out of one of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Lego-Movie-Storage-Brick-Toy-Box-4-Knob-Orange-/301452348262?pt=UK_Construction_Toys_Kits&hash=item462ff5cb66
  14. Well, that's not something I expected to read today! Giggity giggity.

    Wtd: PS3 Playstation 3

Cool sounds ideal. I figured I could at least trust you guys a bit more than a random eBay seller. Any games with it pal?

    Wtd: PS3 Playstation 3

Cool, thanks chaps. Consider my requirement revised to include a PS3. I just fancy a hand full of games. Probably mostly driving such as GTA and Colin McRae Rally type stuff. :
  17. No, it's not a typo, I'm after Playstation 3. I'm not a gamer, never have been, but an upgrade to the TV in the living room means I have a decent sized TV in the spare room now. I've decided I want to get a cheap console to plug in and play when the mood takes me. A PS2 would be ideal for my need as it'll probably be used for 10 mins every 6 months or so Looked at a few on eBay and 'bundles' with games, controllers and other game related gubbins are available for not a lot. Before I look into getting one off the bay, I just wondered if anyone had anything maybe gathering dust that they wanted rid of? Ta. In the meantime, I'll just continue playing snake on my Nokia 3210.
  18. Bought mine a new head unit and having some interior parts dipped, which I can't wait to get back in the new year
  19. Awesome Work Cal Please, just don't leave it 4 years until you share stage 3 with us
  20. Just having a gander at the DVLA cherished plates site and spotted that NO15 EYZ is still available, for a pretty reasonable £799. Would look great on a new Nismo 370Z with an aftermarket system. You'd obviously need to carry around a separate set of show plates with the spacing: NO15EY Z for when you're not using the car on public roads....

    LEGO!

We've bought my (sort of) bro-in-law a Mini Cooper for his Christmas present. He ised to own one of the last 500 'proper' Coopers that were made - it was British Racing Green too. Couldn't believe this kit when I saw it! http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/MINI-Cooper-10242 Watch the video: "Hi, I'm Andy and I'm a senior designer for Lego....". I HATE you Andy. Seriously tempted at buying some kits myself now. Love that Ghostbusters one!
