  1. I wouldn't really call a Scirocco practical either? Lovely looking cars though and I imagine the R has a fair bit of poke.
  2. You could always save for the Eibachs and in the meantime look out for 2nd hand ones? These are purely for looks, so you don't have to do them immediately.
  3. When we stopped for the toilet on the Sunday afternoon.
  4. Yeah really! Glad I wasn't lowered after the car park fiasco last year!
  5. I hope you were not talking about post #202 Sent from the golf club... Pics or it doesn't exist!
  6. What do you think wasn't sure when I first got it but I think I prefer the more modern feel of the 350. Mine was uk spec auto. So I'm happy to be in a manual again I'm guessing he thought it lacked about 150bhp!
  7. I just don't get why someone would spend £30k on an Astra? When you think what you could get 2nd hand... 996 turbo, XKR, 370z, M3 etc etc. I know those don't have vauxhall running costs, but seriously why would you?
  8. Yeah, let's see how desirable they are in 10 years... or 20...
  9. Really interested in this thread too. Let us know how you get on with the Teins!
  10. Got it... Jeep Wrangler Arctic Edition! http://m.jeep.com/en/2012/wrangler_arctic/#model=arctic&color=winter_chill Looks pretty cool... no pun intended.
  11. Didn't see the two door bit, my entry is void And he already said it's not a Cadillac... Close though! It had better be something interesting after all this!

  14. Chevy Camaro (Although just over 300bhp) Jeep Grand Cherokee
  15. After how close it was that really doesn't surprise me!!! My car REALLY needs to go in and get Up-Reved lol You would have probs been in the same position even with up rev matey. Yeah, looks like you'll need NOS! Sorry, I'll stop with the terrible F&F references now!
  16. Why pay £800 for a bag just because it has LV on it or £700 on a phone because it has an apple on it. People like Nismo stuff, me included. Not always, but branding has a high influence on people's purchases. There must be something you own which you could have got better / cheaper, but went for the brand you liked?
  17. I forgot to ask what the retail was on one of those... thanks!
  18. And perhaps, just perhaps it is the case because unlike USA they're not in the line of fire as much and therefore cant react as well under the same pressure? Maybe. I don't mean to say the po po are malicious but training means diddly squat if you under extreme pressure, flooded with adrenaline and the assume someone has a gun or is a terrorist. Making a mistake normally means you might pepper spray them of tackle them. Make a mistake with a gun well someone going to die. The flip side though is that you could also make a mistake and you, your colleague or a member of the public are subsequently shot and killed because you hesitated or didn't act quickly enough. I don't envy anyone put in that situation and thankfully incidents like these are very rare in this country.
