  1. Up for sale as I'm selling up and moving on unfortunately due to an impulse buy - Will post some more current pics up later on when I get the wheels off the car, but here's the original ad I bought them from: http://www.350z-uk.c...page__hl__linea Typically yesterday I scuffed one of the backs avoiding a last minute lane changer - but its only a scuff the size of a 5p piece, changed the front tyres to Pirelli P zero rosso's with 5mm+ of tread, rears have about 3mm, and will include the tuner wheel nuts as well. £980 collected from Taunton in Somerset ideally please.
  2. last couple pics for old times sake with the wheels and splitter, just before it went up for sale - man I love those wheels!!
  3. Some new better quality pics after a clean, new number plates fitted as well to freshen it up

What a nice mature site - I've watched a few of these M3 threads on Pistonheads and they usually degrade into a slanging match, with the 350 usually getting a pasting as a competitor. Lovely cars - nearly bought one recently, but the fear of SMG pump failiure and elevated running costs over the 350z stopped me at the last moment - ended up going for a much more reliable and cheaper to run Boxster, go figure...
  5. Forgot! link to my build thread with some pics : http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/72316-scotty-ps-im-not-going-to-touch-it-build-thread/
  6. Nissan 350z 2005 GT (UK Car) £7850 68k miles on late 2005 plate (cheaper tax!) in gunmetal grey. Tax until October and New Mot on sale FSH- Mixture of Nissan Dealerships for early services, then specialists: plus extra annual service just carried out for oil change, coolant etc- Auxillary belts changed at the same time, all genuine Nissan parts used. Exterior: Rays alloys with Bridgestone tyres and over 5mm of tread all round, Nismo carbon boot spoiler (base colour coded, raw carbon blade), front bumper section and b Pillars carbon wrapped. Interior cruise control, black heated leather, Bose with MP3 hack etc. No marks or tears in seats. Interesting bits!: Scorpion Exhaust, Berks HFC's and cobra Y pipe. Induction Plenum,Horsham Uprev - now sounds nice and flies, mid range is grin inducing! Original receipts for all work carried out by Horsham Ferodo uprated discs and pads (fitted at same time as above) Only minor fault is boot struts don't hold when cold - fine when warm and a few bubbles on the rays. No clutch slip or axle clicks Lovely condition and all mods installed within the last few months and only 5k annual mileage. Happy to answer any questions on ownership or any details I've missed. Photo's will be uploaded this weekend when i've had another chance to wash and wax and find a scenic location! Car based in Taunton, Somerset.
  7. its a slow, easy kind of life down here in Somerset - most of the residents still ride horses and have hay carts* *not strictly true - although my neighbour does have a diesel vauxhall astra that is comparable to a horse and cart...
  8. Have a nismo replica front lip - same as the current ones on Ebay, has a few scuffs - but if you're painting it shouldn't be an issue. I'll just check it for cracks etc (only had it a month but best check!) andget you some photo's if you're interested?
  9. Swift cover - got the same price on the Zed. I am 37 though with a nice old chunk of NCB
  10. Arggh! don't remind me If nothing else the quotes are coming out exactly the same as the Nissan - you know you're old when you can insurance a Porsche for £185!
  11. haha! Don't really, but you're right - need to get some nicer pics up tonight, can't access photobucket at work which limited the available shots. 3.2s so as to get the cheaper tax
  12. haha! just noticed that Wasn't the original intention, just slipped it in as an after thought (as the bishop said to the actress )
  13. will do once its picked up be a nice shot of both on the driveway
  14. Well, despite being really happy with the Zed and stating to all who would listen last week that it would be my 'forever' car - I stupidly made the mistake of test driving a friends car he was putting up for sale and bought it on an impulse! Back in a Boxster S again, this time in 987 guise - que hairdresser and proper porsche jokes (ah, how I've missed being shunned by society!) - which means the Zed is going up for sale, currently on Pistonheads: If only I could keep both.... Thanks for all the help and useful posts - its a great forum and I'll still keep noseying around once the Zed sales
  15. Migh be a bit pricey for what you're looking at, but my 55 plate GT with some sensible performance mods is up for sale at £7850 - if you're interested in more info drop me a pm
  16. Are you still looking for a Zed? - Mines up for sale this week, 67k 55 plate Uk GT in Gunmetal with a few choice mods, down in Taunton, Somerset unfortuantely but depends how far you want to travel...
  17. Are you still looking - have my 55 plate gt for sale in Taunton...
  18. Hi, Selling my car very shortly, so should have mine off and ready to sell at the weekend - when its off I'll send you some pics so we can agree a price if that's okay?
  19. Apparently they've cancelled the fee due to the issues and numerous phone calls I've had to make to them - I have no faith in the chimps that it wil happen, but without hope there is nothing
  20. in the words of Dragons Den - 'I'm out' Told Admiral to stick it and re-insuring as seperate policies - will have to work out the NCB with the new companies, Z is fine as its the main car and i'm the main policy holder, other car is a £800 snotter so quotes aren't much over £200 even without NCB.
  21. Would be interested to hear some more feedback on these
  22. hmm, I se what you mean - so how will that work with my girlfriends car? if she's moved to the mluticar policy does that mean she's lost her NCB and we now have 1 between the 3 cars?
  23. Admiral's multicar is a circus! I've just cancelled mine because 1. Admiral are a bunch of monkeys 2.Admiral can't seem to manage their own multicar system. Initialy it was okay, they matched the 11 years on my second car - then my Girlfriend added her car and it all went to hell in a handbag... Apparenly they can only charge one card for the policy - so the extra £300 for her came off my credit card without them telling me or seeking authorisation, and then She couldn't see her policy details without using a weird way of using my date of birth and password and her email address - very secure!! Finally I've just gone to checkthe nissan's insurance certificate for road tax and couldn't see it online - funnily enough only the renewals hotline could help me and after 5 30 minute phone calls I still couldn't see my documents, every time they reset my online account however I got renewal notice for £1600,£1650 etc. when the actual renewal was only £350! Moving my cars to seperate poilicies as it just seems easier - interestingly back on topic they sent through a seperate proof of no claims for each vehicle with 11 years NCB...
  24. I've got the scorpion system with HFC's - sounds awesome, but... with hindsight I would have gone for the Miltek as it includes the Y-pipe and is made to accomadate the part. Adding aftermarket Y-pipe's to the HFC/Scorpion setup (and cobra I assume?) seems to bring in the dreaded drone at 2.5k which drove me nuts and I ended up having to heat wrap the pipe, putt some extra sound deadening in the boot etc to get rid of it which was a faff and not much cheaper than buying the miltek in the first place! With the HFC's the Scorpion is definetly not stock sounding though - sounds mean as hell
  25. hmm, doesn't sound like balancing - had a few weights missing from my Boxster wheels, and it did vibrate a bit at 70, but still didn't feel unsafe or affect the comfort. May be worth getting the tyres checked for flat spots?
