  1. Made a nice little hanger for the hoses so everything is nicely supported and the wheel arch liners aren't being pushed out.. https://www.dropbox.com/s/tik0g875itbflbo/HoseHanger.jpg?dl=0 (This is what it replaces) https://www.dropbox.com/s/ja1gkd09hvp8ofw/panel.jpg?dl=0
  2. Slowly getting there! Wheel archer liners replaced, I've built a metal hanger panel to replace the plastic one that fits around my inter cooler hoses, it's nice and solid so everything's safe and tight... https://www.dropbox.com/s/tik0g875itbflbo/HoseHanger.jpg?dl=0 I've now worked out where the central bolts go, sadly what I thought were rusty rivets are the snapped bolts from the previous owner, so I'm guessing I need to drill these out and then I can bolt the centre of the under tray in.... https://www.dropbox.com/s/1xoaferriyohqfz/BrokenBolt.jpg?dl=0 I've screwed the front of the tray in and it fit's perfectly so the cars driveable again just need to sort out the 3 snapped bolts and I'll be sorted. The tray itself is awesome, I've spent just a couple of minutes fitting everything and all lined up perfectly all the issue's I'm having are down to the previous owner snapping off all the bolts and arch liners
  3. Hope not, haven't had the tray off and had the car 5 years heh, worth a check tho
  4. Guess ill have to fabricate a panel that fits round the hoses! Cheers
  5. Don't believe I've a super charger or turbo charger, air box looks stock, I'd assume that would be a very obvious mod? Is it possible it was fitted by itself? Have to admit I've never heard the radiator fans spin!
  6. Looks like it yes, what does it achieve? I do seem to have a smaller radiator which only just fits on one side behind the grill.
  7. Ewan has once again out done himself, after needing replacement parts on very short notice he not only worked out which parts they were from my random descriptions and photos but got them to me the next day. A real life saver and worth of every piece of praise he gets!
  8. So I've been replacing my undertray and wheel arch liners too as they were knackered. It turns out as well as the arch liners there's a separate small panel on each side around the antiroll bar bushes that connects the chassis to the inside of the arch liner, presumably for extra stiffness. My passenger side one is missing creating a void and leaving the arch a little unsupported and consequently the tray as well eventually when it's fitted. here's the panel... https://www.dropbox.com/s/ja1gkd09hvp8ofw/panel.jpg?dl=0 and the void it fills.. https://www.dropbox.com/s/5n6pnwv5c3qox9g/Void.jpg?dl=0 Now the issue is that there's a set of hoses right where it should go and I'm not sure that's where they should be as they're pushing the tray down regardless of I could somehow fit the panel in. heres the hoses on the right pushing the archliner down.. https://www.dropbox.com/s/7ijvnjcnr000mb8/hoses.jpg?dl=0 and another angle.. https://www.dropbox.com/s/tfocdh0c60gftni/hoses4.jpg?dl=0 they run across the front.. https://www.dropbox.com/s/a9kv4msp3zr3ko4/hoses3.jpg?dl=0 into this area... https://www.dropbox.com/s/17x3c3dwecd3q6i/hoses2.jpg?dl=0 SO what are they and are they meant to be there as they don't seem well fitted! Cheers for any help!
  9. Really? Had mine for 2 years now and never had an issue, aren't they designed to be compliant? Certainly wouldn't have got mine if I thought there was a chance of shenanigans!

I honestly don't know. Figured it'd be over a grand though. No plans to redo it just yet. People at work keep asking if I've had a new car, so it can't be that bad. Outdoor pic with everything back on. That looks really awesome, somehow feels slightly more modern too, not sure if that's the colour with the black roof or something else but looks extra sleek and nice
  11. Perfect, that's what I had in mind thanks a lot! Sadly it seems I do need new arch liners as I stupidly went for a drive sans undertray and I've lost the front section on one side There's a moral for you boys and girls! Hoping to get the replacements fitted and the tray on this weekend. It's shininess is keeping my mood raised!
  12. How are the top two circled bolts attached? Just with the silver washers? Just wondering if they should go through to the car somehow? Being dumb sorry! Always paranoid part of my car is missing!
  13. Got my 350 tray today, really top notch very impressed! However I have encountered a few issues 1) Snapped bolt courtesy of the previous owner. This is right at the rear where the tray bolts to the chassis, any advice? https://www.dropbox.com/s/r3t2dao4jjxqthb/snappedBolt.jpg?dl=0 2) Arch liners totally wrecked I don't really want to replace them for 50 quid each just as the two holes are torn, what have people tried? https://www.dropbox.com/s/s2z4rj5rhx8qeaf/ArchLiner.jpg?dl=0 3) Not quite sure how the 2 halves join together? There's 4 bolt holes that overlap, the outer ones match the arch liner holes so that makes sense, but the inner two don't line up to anything other than each other, do they just bolt together?
  14. Hehe yah, got a lovely new one arriving tomorrow, it's finally got to the point where cable ties can't help anymore! Is that your regular commute? I usually head to Cambridge but had to go to Bicester to pick up a few things this morning, traffic looks shocking in the other direction, don't envy you!
  15. Any chance of some clearer pics? Looks a bit blurry
  16. Lovely set of discs and pads arrived, fitted no dramas all works perfectly and looks beautiful very happy!
  17. Popped these badboys on at the weekend and they look awesome. Only just bedded them in but they're already as good as what I had before so looking forward to the next few weeks when they really bite! All the vibration/wobbling/juddering I had was gone and they look sexy as hell! Took about 5 hours to do the car as two of the calipers needed a lot of struggling to remove but otherwise easy peasey and pretty hard to go wrong. Really happy so if your thinking about it, go for it! before and after.... https://www.dropbox....scsOld.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox....scsNew.jpg?dl=0
  18. I went with MPSS's I love them although I'm sure something on the car is out as it still has wobbles on corners etc
  19. Not sure it's more powerful but with the valve removed and a straight through connector its back how it should be for £1.78 thanks for the advice guys was worried it could be a motor issue. Bizarre that I've had the car 5 years now and never had this as it sounds incredibly common, going to check the other halfs car now, her qashqai has a similar issue that I assumed was just "being a qashqai" but probably the same problem!
  20. Good call, pressure on the two sided of thr valve are very different, took it off, blew threw it and direction of flow has the same resistance as against flow so thats the issue I'm guessing! Will swap it out and retest cheers!
  21. My front washers are suddenly very weak. I'd originally assumed my water was empty so went to refill it and it barely took anymore (mot refilled it no doubt) headlight washers are fine, rear washer is its usual dribble. I'm guessing the pump has gone? Whats the best way to confirm this? How tricky/expensive are the parts/swap? Cheers!
  22. I have berk hrc's with no remap and sooner or later the light always comes back on. I ran with spacers for a bit but didn't see any real difference, the spacers were about 7cm deep. Not sure if that's big or small! It's a bit of a pain really Sounds nice though!
  23. As a n00b question, this isn't one of the ones that people cut holes in the body shell for is it? I hate the intake cutout look on the cars Just replace the internals with the pop charger and away you go? What's the sound difference?
