  1. if its body roll you want to cut down on and not the ride height why don't you just get the ARB's first ?
  2. always used Eibach in the past and cant go wrong with the quality...
  3. I had 35mm h&r's on my m3 but they were too fat so I chucked on a cheap set of no names 30mm's. My bro is now running my m3 with those spacers. I think there will be a set of h&r's in his xmas pressie haha
  4. Don't go cheap! Made that mistake and My wheel fell off on a roundabout lol. how long were they on for before they fell off?
  5. could maybe use a little spacer action.. just to complete the look
  6. Nice one Ewen will do. I am sure i'll be back round in the future for other bits and bobs Cheers Kev, I hope so.. I have read good things about them.. Which setting do you have them set to?
  7. I went and said hello to Ewen at clark motorsports today. Really sound guy. I picked up a set of Eibach anti roll bars for the zed. I just need the weather to give it a break and I'll get them fitted I really need to give the car parts a rest until after xmas.... An induction kit would be nice haha
  8. Thanks bud, I quite like doing the work myself tbh. That way I know its done right and I get to choose the bits.. Fitting its half the fun but I am sad like that
  9. I used vibe stuff because my local car part shop sells it and I get a discount there. I basically stripped all the trim out the back and stuck the stuff down on every surface I could. Its like a sticky putty that's got a fail covering to it. It has defiantly helped but the stuff wasn't cheap
  10. Went with de-badging the 370z today as the plasti dip was crap. I also stuck my private plate on with the smaller plates
  11. I am from inverurie as well mate so good chance ill see you
  12. Welcome along matey. I'll keep a eye out for you kicking about
  13. 370 eibach ARB's are on my list to be bought soon
  14. Might be worth adding my mate also had this on a five series and when he removed it his head lights were marked and has to be fixed by wet and dry sanding the plastic lenses
  15. I put my M3 through a mot with this stuff on the headlights and it passes. My mate has also tested his Scooby with this stuff on the head lights at a different garage. The light isn't really effected because its like a mesh.
  16. I wouldn't bother to tell them. Never seen or heard of anyone having an accident and the assessor using a laptop to look at the software on the ecu! I think they care more about wheels, brakes, suspension etc etc than whats on the ecu. It would be very difficult to see the map even if they did, remember a map it a tweek on timing and fueling etc in the old days it was called a tune up.... I would have no issues failing to tell the insurance company that my standard car has been tuned up that now adays gets a fancy name like uprev..
  17. It had crossed my mind, I know there is a ford forum day on at that dyno in the next couple of weeks so I might see if I can sneak it on. I can't see it making much of a difference though with out having changed the cats.
  18. I work with explosives on oil rigs... Not as cool as it sounds
  19. Because the other thread is locked here is my favourite pic of one of my past cars. Although I am sure there is room for both threads
  20. Thanks for the comments folks. @ Octet I wish, maybe after xmas if its not snapped up. I am looking at a set of wheels with a dish first but thats a cracking deal
  21. Looks good buddy. What a really good difference having the small front plate on makes
  22. So I've had my zed for a couple of months now and I am really happy with it. I've a varied car past but I've been heavily into BMW''s for the past few years. I've just sold on my e46 M3 and replaced it with my 370z but I decided its time for a change. I've always loved the 350 and fell for the 370 once I had seen one in the flesh So here it is when I picked it up from the dealers So first off I gave it a good Wash. I then got it out for some photos before I get the mods starts. I am lucky enough to have a friend who is handy with a camera. I then fitted a reverse camera because I miss my parking sensors but didn't fancy drilling holes in the bumper and since I had all the boot trim out I fitted some sound deadening but I didn't take any pics when I had it stripped out. I then got it dyno'ed to get a baseline. Came in a bit low for a 370z's book at 309.9bhp but I am happy enough with it for now Then I Plasti diped the badges. I wanted to have a play about with the stuff after seeing it on youtube. Its pretty funky stuff but not sure how long it will last for. I took delivery of this on Friday. Its the Milltek none res. and got it fitted today. I so glad I went with the none res as its just right.. The resonator version can't be much louder than oem TBC
  23. your better driving it softly until the oil temp is up to temp.... Leaving it sitting in the drive ticking over doesn't heat the diff and gear box oil.. so best to drive it softly
  24. I should be getting my milltek tomorrow and hopefully have it on by Monday.. If you want to meet up next week to hear one in the flesh.. fair enough mine is a 370 so it wont be pap on
