There are a few 4wd vws about, usually tagged 4motion I think, there aren't that common in NI in fact when I do see them it's usually an unmarked cop car! I'm sure there's more about on the mainland tho. And of course there is the r32

The boss in work just picked up a v nice A8. 2nd owner. The first owner lost over the price of a new zed in depreciation! It's a buyers market, who cares, take it for a drive and you'll forget all about it.

I've had 2 of the 1.9 tdi vw bora. The engines are pretty bullet proof and really do pull well for the size. My old man had a 2l fsi A4 quatro which I was really impressed with. For your hard earned money I'd agree you'll prob get a nicer vw I'd say.

Ive only seen two other zeds since i got mine last month (there just isnt that many in NI) and they didn't even wave! In the scooby you nearly always got a wave/flash...

Got a wave from a nice blond a couple of days ago when heaed through town, the guy in the car beside me immeadiately called me a tosser and i nearly slid off my seat laughing

On a good day with good road conditions and minimal traffic? 80 No problem, prob 90 no problem. Would I trust all the idiots out there to adjust this down when conditions dictate? Not a chance. safety prob means allowing for the lowest common denominator, not the driving enthusiast. Mores the pity tho! I see the results of a quick rain shower in work all the time, usually on a spinal board having stuffed it over a hedge somewhere because they didn't think to adjust to the conditions. Most walk away ( thank goodness car safety is improving) but not always.

Wheels will be off before too long for some new pads so I'll have a good nosy round see if I can see anything that doesn't look oem. First mod on the list lowering the clutch pedal a touch this weekend, see if I can smooth out my driving style a bit! Had a look at the guide on here and looks grand to have a bash at R

Thanks for the comments guys, the wheels came with her which was a big bonus, all i really had to do was spend a few hours of elbow work to clean the paintwork up. Looks great in natural light but under the tubes shes a little swirly in places, either the paint on the car is pretty soft or someone may have ventured near the car wash occasionally i think. All round tho shes v tidy. All i need are some dry days now to get out and get a feel for it, its rained eery day so far and coming from an AWD ive been more than a bit careful! R

Hey guys, picked up my first 350z last Wednesday, so far I haven't stopped smiling! My2006 (registered 1/1/07) Just 22k on the clock and as far as i kno same spec as she came from factory with some nismo goodies. Managed to find some space to treat her to a quick clean and shine yesterday so I'll attempt to post the photos. Got a few small mods in mind already but nothing dramatic, really just going to drive and enjoy for the first few months anyway. Moving from a 99 Impreza Turbo and have to say although I loved the car I've no regrets so far. Rob
