It seems like a common problem on the Zed. You could try removing it and repainting it or wrapping it. There are a few guides on here on how to do it. It's not too hard a job. I went for the wrapping option, in carbon style. Really happy with the results. Edit: just seen DB beat me too it!

As mentioned the fact that general driving ability is so shockingly poor, there has to be better driver training made compulsory. Also if they can make speed cameras so effectively, why can't they develop a camera that can capture drivers who do not follow the 'two second' and instead sit a meter off the bumper of the driver in front. Surely it cannot be that hard to implement and enforce. And while its not going to avoid all crashes it would surely help avoid a lot of them. The countless times I've seen hold-ups and crashes caused by people sitting so close to others that they don't have time to brake or when they do they slam them on causing others to crash. Very sad to hear this news, I feel sorry for all those injured and the friends and families of those involved.

Thats too true, my old boss was involed in a serious accident when a cop car smashed into him at a set of traffic lights. It was at a cross road in the centre of town early one morning. The lights turned green so my boss pulled of after a couple of cars next thing he knew he was smashed into from the side at the back spinning him around into a shop front. The copper had no lights or sirens on and was easily doing over 50mph in a 30. While my boss had no serious injuries he was cut up and badly bruised, suffice to say he car and the shop were written off. After my boss got out of hospital he made a complaint saying there the officer had no lights/sirens on and was driving at excessive speed. The officer disputed these claims. After this went the the IPCC (independent police complaints ccommission) there was an investigation into what happened. There are at leat 3 cameras pointed straight at said junction all the time, not to mention various shops etc... yet magically not a single one captured the incident on film. The only thing that saved my boss and allowed him to get a swift insurance claim through was there were a crew of scaffolders working oppisite that saw the aftermath and could verify my boss' statement. Yet after all this all that happened was the officer got off with a warning.

Sorry for the late reply. I found out after contacting my insurer (Admiral) and they said that i still had to inform them and that it would likely affect my premium. I had a friend who's insurer said the said thing, i can't remember who he was with, i'll ask him when i see him at the weekend. But yeah i was a bit surprised myself as i thought the same thing, take the course and avoid the extra premium but it looked as thou that wasn't the case. Unless i was lied to by Admiral but i wouldn't say why they would? Edit: Forgot to say the reason they said i had to inform them was because, irrelivent of whether i got points or not or the offer of the course, the fact remains that i still broke the Road traffic act therfore they had to be informed.

Ahhh the speed awareness course. I was going to take this after being offered it until i found out that you still have to inform your insurance company, meaning they will still put your premium up and you have to pay £80 and spend a day being talked to like a child. Still if you need a clean license for a job it is worth it.

While it looks great, it also looks like it should have way more than the 200bhp stated....
