  2. Congrats on getting the car And also managing to get insured for only £700!!, there a people on this forum who are +30 with a clean license who are paying more.
  3. Nothing like seeing a little rubeboy get destroyed!!!!! Brilliant!!!
  4. As Ekona says a DA will give lasting results, but Black hole is good. However I have started using Autoglym Deep shine which is a sort of filler and wax in one. Black hole you would have to wax after otherwise it the effect will disappear after a bit of rain. If you have access to a polisher use it, otherwise I would recommended the Autoglym Deep shine over the Poorboys.
  5. Hi mate, I've used Japex before and can recommend them. Nice guys and they done a good job.
  6. Welcome along, i've got a few friends in Berkhamstead. There is a Black 350 and a blue one i've seen a few times over the months in and around Berko but never get a response when i say hello
  7. As Chris 'I said its a catch 22 situation, screwed if you do, screwed if you don't. Insurers are the devil. Best bet would be too phone up anonymously and find out. I personally took the points, as i worked out with paying the the extra for the course and missing out on a days pay the difference with the increase in premium was not a lot. Not enough too want to sit in a room like a naughty child for a day!!!
  8. While it is true that when you go on the course you will not get three points, you may still need to inform your insurance company. I was offered the course but decided to (anonymously) phone my insurer (admiral) to ask them how/if my premium would be effected either way. They told me that that while I didn't get any points I technically still broke the law, therefore I still needed to inform them that I took the course which could result in a rise. Might be worth ringing yours and finding out esp when insurers will try every way under the sun not too pay out.
  9. I beleive SpursMadDave did have a very nice Pioneer unit for sale a little while ago, not sure if its still going? It was a top of the range unit with sat nav bluetooth etc.. was around the £400 mark. Try sending him a PM or browse through the For sale section.
  10. I recently changed the door speakers and had the same problem as you. It turned out i had forgotten to put a screw back in . If you look behind the handle there is/should be a screw set back about 2". Have a look to make sure its still there or in need of tightening up. Have a look at this guide the 6&7th pics done show how to remove the cover http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/front_speakers/ Might not be the problem but could save you removing the whole door trim
