  1. I guess your talking about me then Yes my Zed is up for sale, but I woud stil buy a Zed with GT pack over a standard every time, and travel to get it. All I was saying was get a car that your happy with.... not just because its for sale and down just the road Beleive it or beleive it not I wasn't thinking of you, I bought a GT myself not just because it was a GT but also It was the colour I wanted, it had very low milage and was in as new condition and it was being sold by a nissan dealer at a very acceptable price. On another theme DoogyRev I wish you every success in your move to canada. I went there for 2 months in 1973 and one of my regrets in life was that I didn't stay there. Its a wonderfull country so good luck for the future.
  2. As in all forums there are forumers who post in threads who have ulterior motives and I detect this thread has those. Its interesting to note that the amateur experts in second hand values are posting but the experts such as Toby aka EH 370Z has not commented. maybe I'm just getting cynical in my old age.
  3. I would hold on to your white one as they seem to sell for a premium over any other colour in Northern Ireland anyway
  4. Does anyone know if the 18" rays off a 350 would fit straight onto a 370 for winter use?
  5. I bought a blue 240Z in 1973 and sold it again in 1975, big mistake selling it, It was a super car to drive and turned heads no matter where you went. I wonder will our 350Zs be held in the same esteem 30 years from now. Can't find any photos I took of the car but if they ever turn up I will post.

    Cro's red 350z

You might be joking but if its the car I looked at a month ago it was owned and driven by a 78 year old men
  8. Good day for the irish and the northern hemisphere as it really should ensure that the final will be north v south
  9. Whats the point of this thread. is it so unusual for a 50 year old lady to be driving a Zed
  10. Does any of my learned friends have any tips for removing scuff marks on the plastic vinyl in the boot of my Zed caused by putting my golf bag and clubs in and out of the boot

Silver very popular with both Owners and Insurance companies.
  13. I would keep the car exactly as it is and spend the 1000 on extra fuel so I could drive it for many more hours but then i'm an old guy whose boy racer days are long gone.
  14. I have been offered new 18 inch rays and tyres that come on a new 2008 350Z GT and are unused. What would be a sensible price to pay for them?
  15. Final will be Ireland v either the All Blacks or France, if its the All blacks they will win the final, if its France ireland will win.

    hankook or falkens

Thanks for the winter warning cmck13 Glad to see i'm not the only old fogie driving a Zed

    hankook or falkens

I have been looking on the tyrereviews website and they rate Falkens and the avons about equal with the Hankooks well ahead and the goodyears way out in the lead. The avons get a good rating from a lot of Zed owners. I won't be tracking the car using it more for normal driving and I work from home so only do around 5000 miles per year. I drive a car more towards the rally style of driving as opposed to the race style as I have a background in special stage rallying allbeit many years ago. Price doesn't really matter but I would hate to take off virtually new Avons if the car behaves well on them.

Thanks guys for your experiences, I have only had my 350 for about 3 weeks and she come with new Avons on the front and bridgestone 050As on the back, they are about 25% worn and I don't know what they will be like in the winter.
  19. Anyone have a view on these
  20. I think you should do another head count as there are actually many more 2004 350s than 2006 facelift ones on autotrader.co.uk
  21. Seems a bit silly to pay £1000 more for an inferior car to save £200 per year Tax when the cheaper rate is likely to disapear. The are also a serious lot of 2010 370s in autotrader too. In nothern Ireland there are many more 2003 - 2005 models for sale. As regards the oil issue most owners with 2006 2007 56 models are not having this problem.
