They are both current 2007 models as the HR wasn't released until August 2007 so if the only difference in 3 years time is £500 I will be really happy as the only HR i can get my hands on has twice as many miles on the clock and would cost me £1500 more

I agree the new 2006 300 looks exterior and interior is a lot higher quality and I think its worth the higher road tax to have the better car. I would guess that the lower tax band may not last much longer with the current state of our economy.I have now bought the Universal silver car as I preferred to drive it and it looks really well in that colour, I live in the country and a dark car needs washed every other day to look good. I'm biased anyway as I have driven silver cars for the last 10 years.

Yes I drove the silver one and thought it pulled away a lot steadier in second gear than the Black one but it didnt have the same roar, I actually preferred driving the silver 300 even when I thought the Black one was a 313.

I have more info now on the 2 cars, The 313 is Black and apparently a special nismo edition with 19" alloys a nismo exhaust and it has nismo badge on the front and on the back of the car. Maybe someone can throw some more light on this. The 300 is completely standard and in Universal Silver, both have exact same milage.

I am a newbie, I don't know what is meant by nos and F1, go gentle

Only had it for 2 years and the I got married and couldn't get insurance for my wife to drive as she was only 19 and so had to sell it.

I have photos of my 240Z so well hidden away I cant find them. Would a 300ps model registered in Feb2007 with 22,000 miles not be a better buy than a 313ps model registered in May 2007 with 40,000 miles even at the same price let alone £2000 cheaper. Both have GT packs plus i'm getting a good price to trade in my 7 year old Mazda 6 AWD Estate sport4.

Its the 3.0 2006/2007 car, not the new 2007 313 car but there doesn't seem to be much difference in the cars overall performance or looks except for the bulge in the bonnet. I can have a 313 but £2000 more expensive and 20,000 more miles on the clock

Hi Folks I'm just joined the forum and I last owned an Z in 1975 having a super 240Z. I'm now in the process of buying a 350Z 3.0 gt pack 2007 22,000 miles with 12 months MOT, 6 months Tax and 6 months warranty for £11,995 from a nissan dealer. Is this a fair price or am I being ripped off.
