I think Ian's right there. Also unless you get an uprev your car will negate any advantages of having it. If it was forced induction could make a difference though

So the clutch hasn't ever slipped during diving but I had to pull off from a very at step drive way the other week and it definitely let go then. I know the bite is high anyway. It does pull well perhaps I'm just being paranoid.... Thanks for all the responses. I think I'll leave it for now and and see what comes. If I do go through with selling it I'll be putting an up here anyway so I'm not trying to hide anything

Hi everyone, I'm recently having a bit of a change of circumstances and considering selling the zed for something with a better load capacity. It's a 2003 (53) runs fine etc and I want to do a few bits before I even put up for sale. Only question I have is should I replace the clutch or take the hit on sale price if I put up an honest advert? I'm pretty sure the clutch is close but it's still driving fine. Thanks, Crusty crab

Plast-rx I think it is called. I'm pretty sure it's just a really fine polish. I'm going to get my self some more 3000 grit paper for when I need to do it again. The advantage of buying the kit is it all comes together but to be honest you could buy the buffer and paper separately and get the same results.

So a few weeks ago I purchased the Meguiar's headlamp restorer kit. I must say it's pretty decent. I didn't spend too long per lamp (30 mins a side maybe) but you can really see the difference. Just did what the instructions said and it worked a treat. I still have some material on the pads and about half the compound left so I'll probably give it another go with the really fine stuff and a final polish in a week or so. Then a quick wash to get rid of any left over residue

When I went to disc skimmers he cleaned the hub faces (properly) and to quote Marcus they need to be 'clean enough to eat your dinner off'

I had the same thing. Your hub faces aren't clean enough. I made the exact same mistake and disc skimmers sorted me right out. Just get in touch with him and he'll ou sort you right out.

I had a tizzing nose coming from mine and it turned out to be the heat shield above the back box had dropped down as it had corroded through. Just dropped the back box and put some washers on it. Solved the problem but to bloody ages to find it was that.
