  1. Cheers for the advice, as long as I get away from work at a reasonable time that will be tonight's mission
  2. Yeah, already spoke to Mark and he's been going through the options so no worries there. Ok I'll make sure they are all properly adjusted and see what it feels like then. THe tyres are on the right way round, already checked that one
  3. I think so but could it make all that much difference?
  4. Hi people, It's a bit of a weird one... Had a full geo set up done at Abbey Motorsport (awesome as usual) and needed new tyres so i have just bought 4 Michelin Pilot Super Sports to finish it off. I have GT Rays and got correct size tyres. Now the problem - it just doesn't feel quit right! After the alignment was done it felt like a new car but now with new tyres it feels like it is veering or perhaps a bit tram liney. Now I have noticed it its really sticking in my mind and bugging me. Tyre pressures are 30 psi all round and I'm pretty sure the right wheels are on the right axels but will check tomorrow. Spoke with Mark and he is giving me advice but I just wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas? Thanks, Crab
  5. 9:20pm think it was a silver 04 plate (but hard to tell under street lamps). Passed you by the BP next to Chertsey Bridge
  6. Can't you lock it manually from the key in the door?
  7. I have one and (as it has already been said) eco5 is good for slow driving. Sp7 makes the throttle very sensitive and basicallyy feels like you're flooring it when you just touch the peddle. It doesn't actually change anything other than the sensitivity of the throttle pedal. So when it's in Eco mode you have to put you're foot down further to get the same effect. If you have spare money it is a cool thing to have and I do like mine
  8. Fantastic, have to give it a shot. Where did to get the mesh and edging from?

Indeed I do. Straight, not resonated. It's quite... Full-on sound though and was definitely too much for me. You know at 3k the hfc gives that nice bark/growl? The straight section is like death. Sounds phenomenal at idle and revving though Like I said I'm not sure if I want to sell it or not but you're welcome to listen or try it n yours if you haven't taken the XYZ out yet. Very easy to swap.

Oh yeah.... It will be louder

Do you definitely want a different y-pipe though? I have a straight section which I prob won't put back in cause I thought it sounded horrid when it was straight through. If you fancy I can stick it in mine and demo it for you but if you like it I'm sure we can sort something out.

Right I'm in on this one now rather than replying to your other thread Why straight through - You want it louder? I have the hfc version of XYZ and I think it's awesome! Do you have a friendly mot place?
  15. These are a great bit of kit Smudge, why are you selling it? - never mind I just read the other topic you started.
  16. Ooh good point, sorry, I can't help you there I never intended to remove it. I'd have to say Don't risk it if you think you might want it off at some point. Sorry mate
  17. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_764729_langId_-1_categoryId_165495 Not sure if it is exactly the same but I did my lower front lip and it came out pretty good
  18. What colour? I used halfords own stuff it only comes in black I think. It's called rubberised I think. I'll see if I can find the link...
  19. Peddle dance... http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/53148-ecu-accelerator-pedal-throttle-valve-resets/
  20. Ha, we'll it is mainly the exhaust. The decats and XYZ y-pipe with CAT is a good combo. Reasonably quiet for low revs and cruising but when you put your foot down gives a decent bark You don't need to have any excuse to drive the car is the reason itself
