Depends on what you are moding it for; looks, performance, sound etc. I went for function over form to start with as cosmetics are expensive for no performance gain. Other than cheap bits like a stubby. Or free things like removing my rear wiper arm. What do you want to get out of it and how much money have you got burning your pockets?

Are you on about the back box and centre pipe joint? I had mine off the other day; there is a flange joint between the centre pipe and the back box but the back box has a hangar on the opposite side to the joint. I ended up unbolting the brackets from the car (except for the RH rear) as I couldn't work the rubbers off by hand. I didn't have a ramp but i jacked it up from the rear diff and then put axle stands under the sills (in the jacking points at the rear). Its not that bad but the bolts weren't too seized.

Having changed back to a panel filter I am putting my K&N induction kit up for sale; all the bits are there and I have the original box and instructions.  http://www.knfilters.com/images/l/57-6013.jpg http://www.knfilters.com/search/product ... od=57-6013  I had it on a stock car for about 10months and it sounds brilliant. When you put your foot down it gives a decent growl to the induction noise but it’s not obnoxious when you don’t.  I found it fairly straight forward to fit and I’m more than happy to help with fitting.  It cost £240 new and I’d like £100 for it.  PM me for details etc.
