  2. Cracking guys at CS. where abouts in Leicester are you located?
  3. most likely, I had one too until I kind of took a look at it and made sure it was all where it should be. been fine since. just be careful with it.
  4. yep its in Anstey - perfrect for all lighting needs
  5. you got my hopes up... I thought you had fitted the wheels of a GTR onto your Z! nevertheless... it does look very nice!!
  6. yeah this is possible, but what did you do with the rubber window trim? I was worried about messing around with it too much so to avoid leaking.
  7. nope wouldn't peel, I didn't use a heat gun, just a hairdryer I never used water either. the issue is making sure you don't get bubbles under the wrap. I folded it - so for the sides I left quite a bit under the a pillar I think its called. and then just put them back over the top to give a clean finish. for the back of the roof you just have to cut it and fold it in the gap between the boot lid and the roof. the front, you can hide it under the rubber windscreen strip!
  8. I do beleive you were one of them!! wheres the love for the fellow Z'er
  9. To be honest I think you will find it pretty difficult. It was hard enough just to do the roof and that is straightforward as it doesn't have any moving parts (boot lid for example). if you're keen still then just try the roof and see how you get on. you will have to do this indoors 100% so there is no wind/rain/dust, and you will need a friend to help. let us know how you get on and maybe some pics... good or bad that is! good luck!! and be patient with it.
  10. yep thats the one! ... wait for SMD to confirm first 99% sure thats what I did.
  11. I can't remember where I attached it now - I think there was a cable called steering wheel control on the loom.... 100% works on the 640 as I have it installed. I am sure spursmaddave will correct me, hes an I.C.E god
  12. and if I wave at one more person in a Z and they don't wave back I am going to go on all of them!!!
  13. jesus this is fantastic!!! who is the bloke crowbarring the door?
  14. a lot of interesting views on Freemasonry then!! even if the post was side tracked a little!!
  15. yep just cut off the 3.5mm jack and splice it in.
  16. Synthetic engine oil isn't refined from crude like petrol, it's synthesised, hence 'synthetic' DB good point... hahaha
  17. good question!! maybe we should start refining our own fuel from this cheap oil! so guys - I am good for this stuff?
  18. guys - running low on engine oil. I have a 313 obviously with the HR engine in it - need to get a litre in it asap so was wondering if you guys could let me know if the following is ok.. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_253905_langId_-1_categoryId_165581_zygonArticleNum_918672_zygonGenericCode_000000_zygonId_12887511_zygonManPartNum_C+5W30+FORD+PT+SYN I have looked through the forum and couldn't find a thread on best oil to use, I suspect there is a thread somewhere but I couldn't find it Thanks for the help all!

  21. Similar to me - when my 50s come off the front I will put pilot super sports on so I am matching all round. its a weekend car anyway, not a daily drive.
  22. i have RE050A's on the front and Michelin Pilot super sports on the back. works much better than it did when I have REO50A's all around with different levels of tread depth...
