  1. went to the beach volleyball last night and it was INCREDIBLE!!! the atmosphere was fantastic. lots of crowd participation, shouting, heckling, congas, dancing, singing etc... its funny as we could see what the viewers on the BBC were watching, and it looked completely different to what actually was happening! makes a change for everyone in London to get on so well! (maybe its because most of the londoners have left!!) Table tennis on Monday.... heard good things about it so hopefully the atmosphere will be the same!
  2. When you've got 313 money you don't need too i don't have 313 money anymore, most of it has come out of my exhaust and is left in black rubber balls on roundabouts
  3. How do you work that out based on that Advert? Apart from a near ridiculous price and assuming no CAT-D (in fact even assuming a well repaired CAT-D) whats the issue? 4 grand plus a couple of hundred to tax it? The car is underpriced for a reason, I wouldn't want to drive a heavy V6 around waiting to find out why it was so cheap... Could be anything though couldn't it? No tax may = financial difficulty which may = mortgage arrears which may = immediate lump sum payment required to bail out mortgage. Or may = scrotter who couldn't afford to run the car in the first place wants cash out asap Or may = shedder of a zed that will blow up in 12 miles. Nothing from those piccies should put anyone off nosing at it if they're in the market for a car. O no for sure - 110% take a look around it and you may have found a bargain! Just something I personally wouldn't look into, but if you're looking for an entry Z - worth taking a nosey around at least!

  5. wouldn't touch it with a crowbar... looks brutal
  6. I know you dont want vauxhall... BUT, throwing it in the mix, Insignia VXR?
  7. It's ok on speed bumps yep. However you have to go over on one side of the car rather than straight over them..... I tend to try and avoid all speed bumps
  8. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=57744 Some pics CN... Has been lowered with tein s tech springs, 17mm front and 14mm drop rear
  9. I was debating over this for a while.... invested in some Eibachs from Cougarstore... worked a charm.. 20s all around i think they are (bad memory). It really depends on if you are tracking the car and how much you use it. I only use mine a few times a week so not overly concerned. If you're using it as a daily and/or track it, then maybe I wouldn't bother as there may be concerns about what will damage may happen over time... if you do get them, make sure not to get crappy fleabay ones and make sure the torque is set correctly...
  10. I was planning on getting a mobile paint guy around to deal with them (and look at removing my key mark).... hopefully wont be too expensive but its a constant battle. I will just get them touched up every 6 months or so
  11. It's obviously jealousy Will they polish out? Very much doubt it... it realllllly frustrates me to be honest... if it was a battered wreck people wouldn't care. But! because I look after it.... they decide to key it...
  12. thanks for all the advice/responses guys... I am in no rush to buy a bike as I am focussing on passing my test first. I do have my heart set on the supersport iron... however I am taking all your points into consideration so I will definitely at least try out the monster and a couple of your recommendations too! hopefully I will be able to deal with the HD... but if its too heavy for a first bike its too heavy... I can be patient... as long as I still have my Z in the garage that is!
  13. 100% sure it's key marks.... Will get pics at weekend
  14. well well well..... cleaning the "whip" today, and thus discovered 3 nice key marks on the boot lid ... luckily I am in a good mood due to the weather so that it hasn't bothered me too much... and to be honest, I kind of expect it nowadays! its about 5"x5" square of 3 key marks, not too deep but nonetheless a right pain the f*ing arse. I use the car twice a week and watch it through shop windows to keep an eye on it and some absolute chopper still manages to get their paws on it. some people hey....
  15. @ALL Jodie Marsh is a professional body builder... so there you go! ahh ok - I was planning the other way around, something more sedate rather than getting on a crotch rocket and stacking it! I have my z for speed The only use I have for this bike is to get on it (not drop it as i wont be able to move) and ride... I live in charnwood so close to Rutland water and masses of countryside. HOWEVER, if i find it is too heavy I will look into the monster and I also LOVE the buells.. shame they went bust ...
  16. haha - booked in for my DA... so it will be my first bike. The bike above is 250kg's so not as heavy as a norm HD as its smaller. I have been reading a lot into this as it was my only concern.. (not being able to stand it up!). It also sits low to the floor and many reviews say its the perfect bike for smaller* guys . Im 5,10 so shouldn't be a big issue but I will def give it a test before I commit to anything. cheers for the advice I'm sure Jodi Marsh had one..... It's the 'girls' harley so you'd be fine! haha thanks for telling everyone Stew... really appreciate that one mate It would just be for fun, so a weekend bike (even though my z is a weekend car). the only use for it would just be to go out and ride.... my only other option would be a ducati monster 796. which is a completely different bike. If I struggle with the weight of the harley then I will have to get something more appropriate for a first bike... time will tell/I will beast the gym some more
