I appriciate that certain tuners know a lot more about the GTR than a tpical Nissan Dealership, but nothing compared o the Nissan engineers who actually designed and built the GTR.

I'm not a fan of modified cars if i'm honest. Maybe a set of wheels or an exhaust but thats about it. I like the oem look. I can never understand folk who spend ££££ on modifying cars. I would rather spend the extra money on buying a better car with more spec from factory or lower miles etc. Also i'd never buy a modified car as its down to personal taste. Also, take the GTR for example, what does some back street tuner know that nissan dosent?? I know most manufacturers play it safe with the power in mst performance cars but its for a reason. Finally ive been in cars with all sorts of cash spent on them and half the time it wastes the car for me. But thats just my humble opinion and i appreciate everyone is different!

Good shout. I'm getting the sky+ and HD with the entertainment extra + and sky sports and movies fr £35 pm. But i'll now need to add multiroom, which is another £10.50pm.

The best deal virgin can give me is around £100 for tv, phone and broadband including sky sports and movies. If i split them up i can get the tv for £45 and the bb and phone for £22. So saving around £33 a month!

Update, my son got a coach to London last night and caught a flight from stansted to palma and has arrived in magaluf a happy chappy!

Thanks mate, so i'll need to add the multiroom at £10.50. They said i'll get a free 1st box with multiroom. Also the HD is included in the price as it comes as part of the entertainment extra + package. So i should be around £45 a month for every channel including sky movies and sky sports. Sound a good deal i think. But it will go up after 12 months to around £75 they said.

I currently have virgin media tv, phone, broadband. A friend gave me a sky family and friends discount code, to change my services to sky. After looking into it i decided to keep my broadband and phone with virgin as i currently get 60mb broadband and best sky could offer was between 2mb and 17mb as i cant get the fibre optic infinity in my area yet. Anyway ive been offered sky entertainment extra + with all sky movies and all sky sports for £35 per month with free installation. Firstly is this a good price? Also i currently have an extra virgin box in my son's bedroom and i thought i would need multiroom with sky at £10.50 per month but the sales advisor said i didnt need it as my son could get all the tv services via sky go, as his tv is connected to his desktop computer. When i called virgin to cancel my tv package they said sky go did not have this option and it was very limited. Anyone know any better? I would call sky to confrm but all there phone lines are losed until monday for upgrade work and my install is booked for monday! Thanks, Stu.

Yeah probably, lol. I'm just glad we got something sorted out, because they were looking forward to it. I was really lucky because 2 other flights had borded and got cancelled, that meant my son was at the front of the check in que, so managed to get another flight. If the other folk hadn't borded they would have been at the font of the que and all the other flight seats would have been taken! BTW well done to Rynair, wasn't their fault but staff really helped, even booked coach tickets etc.

My son finished Uni last month and as a treat we booked him a holiday to Magaluf departing today from Glasgow Prestwick. Dropped him off to meet up with his 6 friends. They were later told the flight had been cancelled due to the French air traffic control strike! I had to drive another 90 mile round trip to pick him up and bring him home, gutted doesn't even come close!!! Managed to get them booked onto a night coach from Glasgow to London tomorrow night and a flight from London Stanstead to Magaluf around 11am on Thursday. Not perfect but at least they'll still get 8.5 days of their 10 day holiday.

Probably nothing to do with it, but my wife's Mini had a recall a few months ago regarding the thermostat. Its a 2012 mini!

Update! Bizarly keys turned up. My son thinks its a practical joker! Just glad to get them back in the end. Just need bmw to re code them! Thanks for the replys guys!

Elephant offer key insurance now, I pay £1.60 (+/-) a month for it and if I lose my keys they will replace all the car and house locks for me with no excess. Worth trying to get some incase it happens again Thanks mate, i'll look into it.

Update, contacted the BMW dealer i bought the mini from. They wanted £78 to un pair the lost key with the mini and £150 for a new key and to pair it with the car, that was with a really good discount. I was driving by another BMW dealer today in hamilton and popped in to get a quote from them. The service guy, took the car and key we had left and took the car into the work shop, came back out 15 minutes later and said he had deleted the lost key from the mini and only the key i had left could now open and start the car. I asked him how much it cost and he kindly said on this occasion its "FREE". He also said if i found the lost key, he would re-program it to my car for free, result. Also, he said he could order another key for £120! So now only one key i have can open and start the car, but apparently, if someone knew what car it was, they could remove the key from inside the fob and manually unlock the doors, but cant start the car! Only way to avoid this is to pay over £1000+ to have the locks changed.

My son works part time in a sports center. He put his Mini key fob in his bag and into a locker in the public changing area. When he finished his shift the key was missing from his bag. So either someone has a master key to the lockers or my son as dropped or misplaced the key. I have a spare key so managed to bring car home and lock in my garage. I know i can get a replacement key from bmw, but the missing key is still out there somewhere. Can bmw change the key code on the car and the spare key that i have as well as the new key?
