its not unpleasant,not like the engine is eating metal, just has to get you thinking what's causing it? im having the plenum chamber removed and worked on next week, maybe they'll see some symptoms there? but it has many people baffled !

I have had a burning smell under acceleration or even just over 4k revs, ive asked before but no one had an idea Ive had a full service, all fluids , belts, plugs, new exhaust, what else could be causing it?

Its a 2004 Im really chuffed with the head unit and the wiring 'cheats' , was weird having a DVD playing on the move! ..the sound is really crisp too, i so dont miss that old BOSE unit!!

well got it all fitted and it all works...woooo only issue is the fascia, the one supplied doesnt fit and the suggested after market one doesnt fit properly either.. what did you use with your JVC in the pic? it looks like it fits perfectly

i see people suggest piggy-back, do they mean in addition to the OEM ECU? or straight replacement ECU

ouch, that would drive me nuts too when its cold 2nd gear is almost inaccessible, makes off the line driving difficult
