  1. Hi guys, Do toyo actually make the r888 in 245 45 18? Cause all I can find is 245 40 18 I've seen 4 x 245 40 18 for sale, and was wondering if I got another set of rear wheels for the front would it still handle on track? Or would it throw the handling out? (Oversteer/under steer) Cheers
  2. I'll take a chance and put my name down for one! Pm on the way!
  3. Not yet, I'm in talks with custom cages at the moment, they're working out costs for the detachable front. As I want it to be a usable daily drive that me and the misses share. If they can't do the front section I'll just settle for the rear. Spek to DJTIMO - he's got a rear cage from custom cages done!
  4. Yeah that was me with the judder. Warped disc, so as got hotter it got worse. Shook the whole car quite badly. Managed a 8:59. With working brakes and a clear run I should have been around the 8:40mark. Aiming for sub 8:30 next year. Should be easily done with the mods I'm planning this year. Had to drive to Belgium on sat afternoon to collect mates audi tt, so wiped a whole afternoon out unfortunately! How was your trip?

  6. After having a trip to the ring this weekend, i know the direction I want to head with this now. Sub 8m30s BTG time, whilst still being a daily driver. This will have a time scale of a year before I go back next May!
  7. Yes! Apologies for that! One of the Mini Cooper s was written off before we even got to the tunnel!!! Rolled several times through several trees! Audi tt had its water pump go in Belgium and had to leave it there till fixed and go back collect it 3 days later Other Mini Cooper s shat a wheel bearing and a drive shaft on second day. And the 2 Zeds were fine!!!! Even managed pretty good lap times!!! Saw a few Zeds and gave the usual wave! Already planning next years trip!
  8. TOMORROW!!!!! sorry, just kind of excited.
  9. I'm with daveyboy11 If you see 2 zeds (gunmetal with black wheels and a black zed on silver rays) give us a wave! Will be with a mental Mini Cooper s and a mk1 green Audi tt. Should be awesome!!! Pm me your mobile number and I'll drop you a text when we're there!
  10. It's a great idea, and one we all think about a lot I'm sure. But doing it is complicated. I would suggest you each buy your own car and do track days together. Or just make your 350z your track car. I've done many track days, in 350z and other cars/bikes but having the money and time to do it is hard. But if you've got surplus money/time burning a hole then go for it.
  11. Hi, Who do I speak to about becoming a professional trader on here? Cheers
  12. I'm going in 15 days! With daveyboy11 on here too. Get the tunnel which costs about £120, Google Monica Schneider apartments, she has a lovely house which is cheap and enough space for 5 cars and a garage. Plus it's really cheap. Make sure your tyres and brakes are good. Drive at 70% of your limit! enjoy yourself and have fun. Don't take risks - ie going out in rain etc. Do max 2 laps at a time and give yourself about 20min break before going out again. Look on YouTube for 'how to tackle the nurburgring' it's a great video to learn the lines. Watch every crash video you can find, look for the most common corners, and why they crashed. Was it track condition etc. I find a lot of people who crash are because they overtake a slower car, are off the racing line, going into a corner too quick, off the line, under steer/over steer then see Armco. The cost of crashing is monumental. Even for the lightest tap. Just approach it like a country lane you don't know. Just enjoy yourself though. No point going for records. You're never going to be the quickest guy out there, and you've got nothing really to prove.
  13. None listed on ep racing website, or Horsham
  14. Hi, Am I going crazy? I can't find the d1 spec throttle controller for sale anywhere. Where can I get one? eBay have throttle controllers at £99, I assume it will do the same job? Are they worth it? Cheers.
  15. I've dealt with greg a few times and he is a good guy. If you look back through my topics, one of them i completely slated tradelink. but then i got to know Greg went back and dealt with him again. His way of dealing with customers, myself included is for you to take your time and decide yourself if you want it. Why didnt you tell him you wanted the car and wanted to strike a deal? Im sure he's not a mind reader. you sound like you needed him to hold your hand through the process and thats not his style. how hard was it to look at the mileage when you sat in the car? its one of the first things i look at when i get in a car. i say this having been a salesman for SEAT, Vauxhall and trading cars myself for the past 2/3 years.
  16. Yes we enjoy our cars, but we know the road isn't a place for being stupid. Get yourself to a track, enjoy the car for what it is, like a lot of us do. I'm sure if you had actually lost the back and hit someone, which could have been possible, you wouldn't be so dismissive. Yes we've all had close calls in our times for being a bit generous with our right foot, learn from it though.
  17. Anyone know of some place to get one? ive got the cradle, just need the actual bluetooth bit.
  18. how about a japspeed k2? i had one and thought it was great. Looks standard, quiet on idle/normal driving, but give it some beans and it makes a lovely noise thats not too in your face. a lot of people slate them for their build quality. But i didnt have a problem with either of my k1s or my k2.
  19. bungs work great. had them on my subarus and both my previous 350z that both had K1. Just don't put your foot 75% of the way down when they tell you to...
  20. I'm sure the zed shed could provide assistance?! Either break for parts and make your money back. Sell as it is and lose a fair amount. Or make it a project car and put in a new engine or put a lsx/2jz/something wild in.
  21. Hi, after one of the bluetooth dongle things please! thank you Luke.
