Awesome idea - I would have done that years ago but I don't have the head room in the current Zed Shed - that's not to say the planning app didn't have a double garage with quite a high roof on it But that's not the new toy coming this week/weekend - I have had my eye out for a while for this little gizmo and saw one at a good price on eBay so made an offer and a deal was done I had been looking at those low profile scissor lift type lifts, so you don't need the headroom you would need with a 2 or 4 poster. Lift the car up, put 4 axle stands under, lower the lift again so you have access to all of the underside. Any more clues? I have spent many an hour looking at those scissor lifts - can't quite justify it but been close a few times. Any more clues - you will never guess what colour it is

Well me an the good lady took the next big step today Yes we put in a planning application to build a double garage in the back garden After much umming and ahhing along with speculating speaking to contacts (you know who you are and thanks ) We thought sod it stick in the application they will either say yes or no. If it's yes then hopefully we will be able to start the build on the new and much improved Zed Shed If it's no I'll have to build a turbo hayabusa engine in the existing Zed Shed and stick it in my Radical just to get over the disappointment - win win really So watch this space for about 8 weeks I'll keep you posted PS - I just bought a new toy for the Zed Shed Pics at the weekend when I collect (No it's not another car - think big tools)

Yes mate - he said it can be done but its bloody hard - it also seems you need a sponsor as they fabricated all the "not available off the shelf parts" -

Yeah but you don't have a picture of a honey badger on the back of an eagle let alone a woodpecker so we have to disqualify the honey badger

Which in your case is anything after the second bend

Had to fix that for you

I've heard of naming pets, but giving Lavender a surname is a bit much twobears But she was a very posh chicken don't you know!! Her full name was Lady Lavender Wyandotte-Farquharson REALLY! You have lost the plot haven't you - in fact I'm starting to doubt you had it in the first place
-
Did you catch any strange and exotic diseases though! Yes but we won't go into that - I was in quarantine in hospital for 7 days when I got back though. I also acquired a few medals along the way - War dodger Hero me

Why do I think there is a joke in there based on "gentleman's tackle" I do however agree with the sentiment nothing to do with watching "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" either

Do you stock theses gauges anywhere brillo? I need then - I can get another pillar pod sorted in no time

Many Happy Returns

Oil Temp is about the only one I would really want in an N/A after that you can do any you like AFR - but 2 is best so you can do both banks. Fuel pressure can be a good one. It's FI you really start wanting gauges although you can live without them

To add to the careers advice comments - I went to school (secondary at least) in Wales in what was then a market town (that being a farm market) The Advice was very good it went like this - Male - Son of a farmer? a.) Yes - Take over your dads farm b.) No - Here is a booklet on the military c.) Marry a farmers daughter. Female - Daughter of a farmer? a.) Yes - Marry (see "c" above) take over dads farm b.) No - Marry a farmers son c.) Get pregnant, get a council house and sit back (not sure if that was actually advice given out but it seems to be a career that a large percentage followed.) or am I just cynical?

I own/run an IT support company for small businesses Before that 12 years in the military as an electronics technician/satellite communications specialist were I went to strange and exotic lands (just like it said in the brochure) I met strange and exotic people (just like it said in the brochure) they shot at me! (that bit WAS NOT in the brochure ) Before that I was a farmer EDIT: Missed the bit between farming and solider - I did a 2 year government sponsored apprenticeship as a mechanic like all of us got laid off the day the government stopped sponsorship - that's why I joined the army
