  1. ...factor in the cost of the taxi each time you actually want to use the car though?
  2. I could see the road going by if I looked down into the footwell of an old mk2 1.4s fiesta I had (great little cars and uber rare now I think), nothing a bit of gaffer tape didnt sort out though.
  3. It was a joke...
  4. I heard a story about some guy who bought an old high mileage Citroen Saxo off a dealer and whilst driving on the motorway at 70mph had the gear linkage rod go on him and crashed into a pylon
  5. Careful with those parts, long thread on here recently of someone who did the same and car will not idle properly. Sounds like you have done it before but follow a strict process of disconnecting everything...
  6. Big Likes all round!
  7. Was wandering along to pick up Alfie from nursery and a big bad Nismo 370z passed by, gave you a wave and got one back
  8. Yep
  9. Absolutely, which is why people should not be going on about it as a bad thing and that the Leave campaign are whiter than white, or that the current government is so morally wrong compared to others (because Labour would have done the same thing in the blink of an eye) - but as I say, I bet plenty of people are now reading the red tops and being brainwashed into something it isn't. My neighbour had his in laws stay over and he ended up having a row with them on Europe - the in laws are old school working class scottish who were picking news stories out of the Sun and using that as a reason for leaving i.e. Romanian man claims benefits whilst in a big house etc...I wonder how many people believed the Sun when they said 1 in 5 muslims in the UK support IS, and how many of those same people took the time to read the article that had the Sun apologising for misleading the country with the headline?
  10. You can be as sure as hell if they guys pushing the Leave motion could have, they would happily have spent £9m of public money on a country wide leaflet campaign with positive facts about leaving - their whole high morals stand is just posturing to the public to try and gain a political upper hand and unfortunately the public will fall for it.
  11. Looks like some sort of strosek widebody kit, maybe appeals to some people out there...
  12. Oh the choices!
  13. Ping! http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/105709-retrimmed-dashboard-non-350z-370z/
  14. Mondo on here? Had done a few 300zx's and did Paycos car, having seens Paycos up close its stunning work on the seats.
  15. The previous owner had the leather seats put in, no idea where he got them, could be Gen7 seats. Sorry my sig is misleading it means seats not the trim, couldnt fit any more words in! But would like to retrim in leather, think that would be amazing and make a huge difference. If you google For Flocks Sake (on facebook) there is a guy that retrims in flock at a really good rate and has done loads of GT4s.
  16. ...and buy 400 litres of oil at the same time
  17. Ha, good decision sir!
  18. Having looked into Darrens 240z its amazing how much of it matches up - from the struts, to where the braces would go - with the boot open looking in you could be forgiven for squinting and thinking you are looking at a 350z interior make up.
  19. Sorry to hear, as its said cars can be replaced, missing limbs not so easily, still gutting to lose something you put so much time into - glad you are safe and well though by the sounds of it.

Always found the Hyundai Coupe V6 hilarious, a 2.7 litre V6? With circa 170bhp? What utterly bizarre thought process went into that? As always a certain humble 256bhp permanent 4WD homologation rally car gets overlooked one day I tell you, the world will open its eyes
  21. Looks like it did indeed achieve its goal of putting you in a hedge...
  22. Might be worth finding out if it has been converted (suspect it has) and who did it, it does require about £1k worth of parts and a good 2-3 days work including cutting holes in the bulkhead by all accounts. I almost went down that route myself before I got the Celica after I sold my R33. I would actually spend some time googling as there can't be many out there in black with this done, you might stumble across some history on it.
  23. I looks like a manual conversion? As it has the tiptronic switches on the steering wheel? Could be wrong?
