    Cobra

Great write up and pictures. Always loved the Cobra.
  4. Not wanting to be un helpful but for security reasons I would have thought people on here would be reluctant to give their vin number to a complete stranger. Would you not be better contacting a Nissan dealer?
  5. Sasha said.. Was actually beginning to think that! SlimJim you're a star, up all night trying to google that. Will look tonight, hopefully just a loose cnnection.
  6. Long shot but does anybody know where the exterior temp sensor is located.? Mine seems to have packed up and is continually reading ICY. Tried looking in the manual but no joy.
  7. "Adjustable Seats"........ always a useful feature
  8. Hi Ian, Had my bumpers done at MG Coachworks in Macclesfield. Colour match and quality excellent, even gave me a small tub for touch up. They do a lot of work for the local Mercedes and Audi garages.
  9. Cragus said.. Depends if you get a door with all the internals and that it lines up o.k. Ideally done with front wing removed.
  10. Did this come off when you "scratched" the drivers door as mentioned in another post? I'm sure there were some on E bay. If not try the new trader A1 spares on here. They had 3 they were breaking when I went there looking for a trim panel.
  11. +2, Changing the door is a major job. however if for "scratched" we read "went sideways into a lamp post" I could understand. Explore the option of repair before you go down the route of replacing it,
  12. Having seen and admired your car Marzman I'm pretty sure that somewhere near what you want for it is possible should you decide to sell it. It's just a matter of waiting to find the right person. With purchase, wheels, paint, exhaust etc etc mine now stands me at what you want for yours! Had I not already got a zed, yours is certainly one i would consider and would be prepared to pay that bit extra for. So, if you decide to sell, hold out for what it's really worth!
  13. Sarnie said For what it's worth, although a very nice looking and rare car, I think for 55,000 miles it is a bit overpriced.
  14. Agreed but that's assuming he (OP) has 2k to throw at it.
  15. I fitted rear parking sensors recently. £25.00 from E bay. Just need to be careful about positioning so they clear the bumper re inforcing bar. Spend your time marking them out properly. Measure 50 times cut once The link I used was http://www.350z-tech.com/wiki/index.php ... er_Removal
  16. Thanks for the link Chris. Funnily enough this was something I had contemplated but grey not black. That way i don't have to do all the plastic bits and the visors.
  17. Have done the "search" thing and followed recommendations, even vanish in warm water but my headlining still looks grubby. The previous owner must have been very tall and used a lot of hair care products as there is a dark grubby area above the drivers head. ( that or he had a massive perm ) I've tried to clean it and the whole headlining but just seem to be making it worse! Any advice gladly appreciated. It's a coupe by the way.
  18. Halfords HCB 005 calcium battery with 4 year warranty. now £89.00 Just google it. Hope this helps.
  19. Got mine recently from Halfords 3 year warranty £80.00 ish, will have a look for receipt for details.
  20. Never mind 3 bids, What on earth was Dave searching for on E bay to find these!!!!????
  21. Oh no what's happened to my bumper??!!! Only kidding, Great pictures and up date. Let me know if you're going to Buxton again, will come up and have a look.
  22. Driver's seat looks a bit tatty.
  23. Cheers Ian, That's what i was trying to say in my earlier post. Managed to get a local company JP Exhausts ( custom stainless fabricators ) to put three little tacks of tig weld on mine, and perfect now. Would only take a fiver for doing it as well. Great place, had a gorgeous E type in there having a stainless exhaust fitted,
