  1. I bought black as wanted a 2007 MY and didn't like the dark blue... but Azure looks best
  2. Tried other stuff, always come back to Autosol... BUT use Bilt Hamber autobalm afterwards as keeps the metal from fading for longer and hugely corrosion resistant too...
  3. Washington coach works in west sussex, near Pulborough, are brilliant ... Used them several times and their work is flawless
  4. Was detailing my new Zed today and first machine polish to remove the spider webbing on the car. Had a full wash, Iron X and Clay beforehand - panel wiped it down, then broke out the DA. Tried my usual Menz combo but wasn't breaking down due to the cold Tried another carpro AIO polish but was 'sticky' on the paint Weather or normal Zed behaviour....? Ended up by hand using Amigo, then a layer of Supernatural Hybrid Looks lovely but still want to machine the car..
  5. Tyre fitter said mine was on original tyres with 2007 date stamp on them... 22k and 5 years
  6. First mod done - stubby aerial is on. Rock and Roll baby

  7. Great car those Clio's ... have fun!
  8. Politically correct modders?
  9. Don't tell me that now, lol. But you are a 120 mile round trip. That is probably the difference in cost gone I thought £850 fitted was good. I guess it was at my house, and Event were awesome Just need to a) remove tyre lacquer get used to RWD in wet
  10. You could try CarPro Fight Fog, available from Mat @ i4detailing. This stuff does work, but windscreen (or bathroom mirror I use it on too) needs to be ultra clean first. You will then struggle to fog up anything!
  11. New tyres fitted by Event Tyres... Who were brilliant. First experience of them? Dab of oppo on a greasy roundabout outside where I live. Got to love new tyre lacquer, lol
  12. Dodo stuff is good value I prefer Zaino personally. Once I've got a spare day the new Zed will be getting a thorough going over As soon as I got her home I fed the leather, washed it, Iron-X'd the wheels (amazing stuff this) and waxed it with Dodo Supernatural Hybrid wax (to get something on it as there was clearly no wax there at all) Full detail write up will be more comprehensive. Someone has used 'wiper blade' drying things on it and there are some nice long scratches in the clearcoat to get rid of
  13. I'm in Haywards Heath and happy to help anyone ...l
  14. A few months. You can get superguard on eBay for £5... Lots of better alternatives to it which will give a nice finish
  15. If he wants a ceramic coating he should get some Cquartz UK or Optiseal .... £40 ish, easy to apply, proven and enough for lots of cars. Reduces scratching to a degree, protects paint well, chipping will happen anyway due to the nature of them. Best solution, as always ... Machine polish paint so perfect and then get a decent protection film on there
  16. Loving the new Zed. Most exciting car I've had in ages. Now, tyres!

  17. ATS out of stock... so event tyres fitted Friday for same price. Factor in the £50 michelin fuel card and I'm happy
  18. So I find the standard system silent compared to my old car... So if the invidia is slightly louder then it won't bother me.
  19. Went OEM spec 245 45 18 and 225 45 18 respectively New car to me, so don't know the 'difference' in handling yet On 3 year old RE050's currently on the legal limit (ish)
  20. So, thought I'd try the supersports following review reading . Got 4 in oem sizes from ats for £850 fitted. 2% cash back through topcashback and a £50 fuel card through ats promotion too. Bargain
  21. Hey, can't blame a chap for trying?? Just spent £10800 today on a car so trying to economise, lol
  22. Haven't detailed the mofo yet... Big detailing geek here....
  23. Would you take £50? Would rather go genuine nismo carbon for more money....
