  1. Even a silverline rotary will be 1,000,000 time better - but a rotary 'proper' can be tricky to use for a novice and can cause damage. Go for a DA or porter cable type random orbital polisher IF you've never used a rotary before... especially with soft jap paint. You'd be a numpty to cause damage with a random orbital
  2. Kill it with fire Seriously mate, not worth using - buy a cheap DA for £70 and that will see you through any situation... or be brave and go proper rotary
  3. When dry this stuff essentially forms a glass clear coat. Very effective stuff but also tricky for a novice to use
  4. WELL, in that case I'm very excited about fitting them
  5. Top video made me think South Downs ... so would be keen to know too!
  6. Cheers mate. n00b question - but are the spacers something you buy?
  7. If I get an eml does it affect anything ?
  8. Hey guys Getting my stillen sport cats fitted next week. Do they cause an eml light to come on? Thanks Rob
  9. Right. I was convinced. But bought Stillen as got a very good deal on them. Trust essentially there is s-d all difference??
  10. Not too japfart raspy? Then again, I had a racing puma. Massive rasping and popping
  11. Cheers Mark. Can't do tomorrow I'm afraid. Do you prefer with or without ?
  12. Cheers mate - is your induction stock? Swear most of my previous car's noise has come from induction kits
  13. Hey guys Since getting the Milltek I'm happy how quiet it is ... but I'm maybe thinking it is too quiet - even that the stock sound may've been louder and more burbly? I've heard good things about the Berks with this setup - what effect does it have on the sound? Much louder or simply change the note? Anyone gone HFC's and regretted it? Cheers Rob
  14. Could be OTT yeah. But it came with the bundle I bought AND I don't just do 350z's
  15. Yup.... My Ebisu Black, although 'mint' hasn't been machined ever.... Bought her in the winter so been looking forward to spring. Have a DA too and a Silverline Rotary but it died and an upgrade was due....
  16. ...and bought this tidy lot (new) off detailingworld.......
  17. Resin polish and black hole are both full of fillers so will hide swirls well. SRP is also mildly abrasive so may reduce them a bit. I'd machine polish to genuinely remove defects. I have the same as you zed wise and am planning a two day correction once weather is right ... Will do a write up
  18. Asda stock it - £3 a bottle. Check mysupermarket.com or asda's website to see if your local one has it
  19. Segways ae awesome, done several rides on them, including the offroad ones in the Bahamas. Great fun
  20. I think parking is a massively contentious issue and it depends where you live and what you have as to your opinion. I know, for example, that everyone in the village parks on the pavements (and everywhere else) therefore it is acceptable to most. But people breaking social convention incur some serious wrath - e.g. if people park in someone else's allocated parking = noted cars, shouting ranting and raving - once someone keyed someone else's car TBH my post was really supposed to be from a mechanical perspective, not from a social perspective or legal perspective. Amusing debate though
  21. Our whole village needs to be condemned then . Some people living in two bed flats with one parking space have a van and three cars. Multiply this situation by thousands and you get the picture. New property developers idea of parking requirements are a joke.
  22. Parking is such a bug bear I will be moving ASAP... driveway is a must. The Egg'ing and the Snow **** being good reasons why, lol
  23. I'm from detailingworld lol. http://www.detailing...ight=windscreen http://www.detailing...ight=windscreen Second is a cheap solution (but watch your paint!) and worked for the poster who had similar issues to you
