Drove my new zed home tentatively ... but loved every minute of it. 'Tis is beauty - fully loaded, well cared for and awesome. But tyres need doing and had a random question - is the drivers seatbelt supposed to be twisted? Annoyed me! Cheers Rob PS Will search tyre threads soon but any suggestions welcomed... On the verge of buying this exhaust. This or the Milltek. Does it drone at all mate? Don't care if loud when gunning it (it should be) but can't stand the droney pitch that goes through you on the motorway with the 'wrong' exhaust (for me anyway!)

So, I'm off to pick her up tomorrow. Any last minute points to look out for? I've read the buyers guides etc, so will be doing usual used car checks + tyre check / listen for clicking / check of all interior electrics inc stereo and windows etc. Wondered if there is any areas which rust or whether this would be a sign of accident damage on a low miles 2007 car? Car is 26k, 2007 313 in black Any other 'tips'? Cheers Rob

So as I'm buying it - if I test drove it and got pulled over (prior to buying it) - the existing owner would 'get done' If I choose to buy it - walk immediately to the post office with insurance cover note, mot and V5 new owner supplement - tax it, drive away, then I'm OK? I understand if you don't SORN it now it is illegal - but presumably for the owner, not me? Cheers Rob

Hey guys I'm looking to replace the Bose HU with an aftermarket double DIN jobbie.... The car has Nissan sat nav fitted. I've read through the guides etc but some of the info is dead or the products not available anymore. So is it possible to fit an new stereo, retaining the bose amp and speaker config, steering controls and sat nav? If so, how? Thanks in advance Rob

I've always used and recommended Gliptone for leather. A lot of leather products contain silicones which make it squeaky or slippery. Gliptone is used on premium car leather, horse saddles, furniture etc. Apply the cleaner with a mf cloth, work into the leather. Remove with a slightly damp mf. Once dry, apply the conditioner with another mf. Work into the leather with a leather brush or soft nail brush. Job done. When I pick up my Zed next week one of the first jobs will be detailing geekery prior to winter - and Gliptone will be coming out
