The mark 2 was just xr2, the injected engine came in the mark 3. I had a nostalgic flash back tonight. There was a breeze blue Nova SRi cruising about near my work. My first car was a breeze blue flair - the same as an SRi (once I changed the front seats) except below the rub strip was blue on mine and the sri had grey. Ace! My memory must be going! Of course the mkII wasn't injected! But Nova's! Now were talking! All my mates had Nova's and I was the odd one out with my ford! Ahh memories! My group was mixed. One of my mates STILL has Mk1 and Mk2 Fiestas! Another is looking into building a Nova sport just now. He also has a Nova tattoo but that's a different convo altogether! A Nova tattoo! I thought it was just me that was covered in crazy tattoo's! Glad to know theres other mental folk out there! I'm definately going to get the Zed tattoo somewhere now!

Due to the rising fuel costs I am considering the "shed it for special occasions" with my Zed and buying an economical car to commute in! (Some cheap rubbish like a Kia or Hyundai! ) I love driving too much to just give it up! Its taken me a long time to get to a good car like the Zed and I'm not going to give it up now! No matter how high fuel costs get! Still it's only £131.9 for Tesco 99 in Glasgow so I'll keep postponing for now!

:o genius, glad im not the only one that says this ! hee hee, tiz a good saying!! i don't need two, plus we have cheesy top gear calender on wall @ mo! promise next year i will maybe if Stu had not been like a kid in a sweetie shop @ ZMANALEX place today and not bought more than we had said, then i would have bought a calendar All I got was a Cosworth filter! I could have bought sume huge stoptech calipers and some coilovers and everything else! It's like Zed heaven up there!

I'll miss Max Power in a weird nostalgic way! It reminds me of my 1st car an old red mkII fiesta xr2i back when I was 17! (long, long ago!) Spending a sunday sanding the blue out of the back of the ford badge to paint it red! Lol! Memories!

lol stu, green has already been done before you arrived on here by p15ult. It really was a beast. Sounds dude! Whats wrong with getting the Nismo bumper/replica? You've already decided on Nismo everywhere else! Guess if its too plain for you you could think about carbon splitter or canards or both! Matte wrapped Zed's look black will be have you decided on an accent colour? Somthing that really pops like pink or lime green or orange What wheels are you painting? with what? I powder coated! So many decisions!

Thanks for this link. I spoke to a guy there and he's told me that even if I get a used wing and bumper with the same paint codes, chances are they'll vary from my cars colour. Which is very depressing! Not sure whether to risk used parts now. How about getting unpainted ones and then blending them?? That sounds even more expensive! I just want someone to say, 'Hey, I'll sort the lot out for £500, pop the car over and it'll be ready in a week'. Why not PM or :pmr35lee: and get some pre-owned panels (who gives a crap if the colours don't match!) then get your Zed wrapped! At least you'll feel like you got something for your money! Zed's look awesome wrapped and the colour choice is practically endless!
