  1. Looks like i could be back on for this coming Saturday. All being well.
  2. Afternoon chaps, Just wondered if any one was heading to Oulton over bank holiday weekend for the gold cup? I'm heading from Harrogate on the Monday for the Historic racing events if anyone else fancies tagging along in a 350 convoy?
  3. I think you'll be ok from a noise point of view if you're worried. I've a Milltek system with Berk hi flow cats and i think it's probably quieter than the stock system with HFC's. Although a nicer "Tuned" sound. I've toyed with the idea of removing the silencer over the years but never bothered.
  4. Cheers for that. I'll see how I'm fixed on Sunday. Just got back from a euro road trip so no doubt there's some decorating lined up.
  5. I'm working that Saturday morning so I'm going to have to sit this one out by the looks of it. Where's this fueled society show being held? Hardwood hill clime run?
  6. I didn't even realize i wanted any until they were offered, i hope i don't get any gypsies in the showroom today offering me "Lucky Lace"
  7. sorry, i thought i'd written that in. About a year and a half ago now mate
  8. Not sure how useful this comment is but mine were all welded, stock spoiler holes and also rear badge holes. Having said that i wasn't there watching over the work. Spoiler holes show no signs of movement, i believe plates were welded below and then filled and flatted off. Worked for me, so far any way.
  9. Yeah that's a fair point, i had it on my cooper S and they're on run flats so it beebed pretty much every time i got in it. I don't check them anywhere near as much as i should but I'm hitting the road for the my European tour tomorrow so i'll go through the routine pre flight checks in the morning. Part of my wanted to find something new and undiscovered.
  10. This has just flagged up on a us based 350 news feed. Are uk cars not equipped with it? There's an additional pressure monitor on the central gauge cluster on the us cars, it's a nice touch that gives you the pressure on each tyre. I never have a 50 pence piece for the machine when i need one.
  11. Ahh good, didn't want to sneak in and rob the last one. Come on guys, lets help this guy clear out his back bedroom.
  12. ordered the last one on the link yesterday. Don't rekon I'll see it for a while, i imagine he's taken his new found riches and buggered off to the Maldives for a week or two.
  13. 1. slates - either day 2. Rob350 - whenever your ready 3. Spatt - Lets keep both days open for accessibility and weather 4. SuperStu - either 5.Hayd350 - 20th - seen as though it's my neck of the woods Tentative: 1. Veeg33 - Either (If you can only make one day just post up) 19th or 20th of August
  14. Subtle mods over the years. Still evolving.
  15. Hi mate, no not cancel them out but the cc buttons are used when selecting the pre loaded maps. So if you were to hold down the right hand top Accel / res button and hit the cancel button below once, this is map 1, twice cancel button pressed is map 2 etc etc. You'll know if you're selecting maps as a red led will blink on your dash. Once for may one, twice for map 2. Unless of course your motors been remapped with one single permanent map which of course makes all the above just a nice little story and nothing more. Hope it helps a bit anyway.
  16. Or alternatively you could attempt to click through the maps and see if they're available? I'm assuming you have cruise control on your HR?
  17. A mate of mine had a nice sprint through pool in Wharfedale yesterday in his red 964 followed very closely by a black 350. Not sure on HR or DE, he's not that clued up on the years but it think the 350 owners pretty local. Any one on here?
  18. If it helps it's not really worth buying 2nd's if you were tempted. I did and replaced the replacements shortly after with brand spankers from Clark, been fine ever since.
  19. Standard Tein setup. Rear wheel drive though so when the hammer goes down it beds down at the rear. If you level it off it'll bed down and then the front will be higher which kinda looks a bit gash. I had my brother do a drive by so i could check it out in motion, there's also a video of me on youtube leaving Cars in the park so whenever i feel it needs to be lower i just watch that video and i leave it as is. If in doubt, get a pal to do a drive by, that's kinda my advice but i think your set up works well.
  20. Gave it the big licks off the fox roundabout. To be fair it sounded pretty sweet. Anyone on here?
  21. I know nothing but i share a love of classic Merc's. Love the w115 and the early 60's W112 with those stacked headlights. All started with my 190e. Unfortunately the prices seem to have drifted up a lot in recent years as their cool looks have not gone unnoticed. Proper cruiser sat along side a proper drifter is my perfect driveway.
  22. Rekon i'd hire a van and go get it myself for a fit and forget tailgate at £50.00. I wouldn't trust a courier with a weighty oversized painted item containing glass. Just a thought.
  23. depends how classy you're wanting to keep it. I take a more "Less is more" approach to styling. For the cost of a set of Tein S techs i'd drop it slightly on those and see how you feel. On stock spaced rays i think it'll sit perfect with a nice reduction in arch gap.
  24. I'd have been up for this if i hadn't just driven in to the side of my own house Any dates in mind, i errrr need to visit the body shop.
