  1. Hi, I was going to amend my post earlier as I actually saw this picture. Yes I know Chris and Bob but would this reduce the price any? I could be interested but being a jock, I dont like spending my own money.
  2. Sounds like we all have stories of our experiences whilst out in our Zeds and also opinions of others whom we consider to be afflicted in some way. I am with Pete on the fact that we all make mistakes and that there are too many in car distractions. Long gone are the days of the BJ whilst driving being the only cause of distraction:-). I am knocking on a bit now and smile every time I get into my Zed. I only drive it in the local Poole area and to work 15 miles away on roads that do not lend themselves to speeding, overtaking or cutting in. I often get stuck behind cousin lovers on their tractors but i don't mind - I am in a Zed and they are not. There were days in my distant past when I had my Glasgow head on and wanted to batter the lot of them but the only one who was affected was me. I was often stewing and took it out on some other poor bugger. These idiots on the roads only get to you if you let them.
  3. Welcome Jack. Looks like a very smart Zed you have there. I want the number plate:-).
  4. I had that on my last Zed too. Metallica cured it for a while but then I got worried. My clutch biting point was high too so I adjusted it down by following a Pinned Topic on the forum. The noise disappeared but that may have been luck. Then I changed the slave and master cylinders thinking that it would be belt and braces. I probably had read too much into the stories on the forum. No more clicking and no more high biting point. Not sure this will help but that was my experience of the said noise. Then I turned up the volume:-).
  5. I have sent him a PM about these recently and it shows as "Not yet Read". I think 350-Jer had first shout.
  6. Still looking. Only need the badge/logo.
  7. Thanks guys. I will PM Jon.
  8. Hi guys, Anyone got a "Z" logo that goes on the arch in the boot? I have just broken mine - in a hurry etc etc. It wont matter if it is scratched, it just has to be complete. Thanks Gordon
  9. Didn't think of that: age thing:-). Looks like I will have to take mine out and see if I can do the same.
  10. PM Buster at the Zed Shed II.He has fitted quite a few double din units. He fitted a Pioneer double din in mine(good job Bob) and it has the same problem with the CD slot. The unit does sit back a little but it does't look that bad. Hope you get it sorted.
  11. Can I have the wheels if you decide to set fire to it?
  12. Grey 54 plate UK GT at Cherwell Valley Services just off M40 Junction 9 around 2 pm. Bright Orange 350 heading North on M1 just South of Leicester around 1 pm.
  13. I contacted Nissan Poole today and they say these are - wait for it - under body panels. They could not tell me what they did but they are over £250 for the pair if anyone out there needs them. I don't think I can be the only one in the Forum that has asked what they are though.
  14. Sorry, on there now. Thought I had done that. Age thing
  15. []Hi Guys, Does anyone know what the two liver shaped panels on the underside of the car are? There is one each side of the exhaust, metal fixings and plastic plate. Mine are a bit rusty. Well, a lot rusty. Thanks Gordon attachment=14649:Under Zed.jpg
  16. Thanks Ewen. I have pm'd you.:-)

    RAYS

Hi Guys, Back in Zed world having bought one at the weekend with standard (not bad nick) alloys but want to put a set of rays on. Anyone out there know of any for a reasonable price please? Thanks Gordon
  18. Nice car Chris. Well worth the swap for your radical..........
  19. Hi Bob, Keyser said you had put it up and it did surprise me but having seen your new project embryo, there is plenty of room for mods. Good luck with the sale of the Ninja, that is a great car. Hope you can make our new project as good as that one.
  20. Hi. Welcome to the Forum from sunny Poole. You will need more than 5k to buy a reasonable one I would suggest but you may get lucky.
  21. If it is as good as it looks I will have it. PM sent
  22. Hi, I havent got sat nav in my Zed - yet - but i got an up to date disc for my Shogun from a guy in Poland (via Ebay). I dont trust many people but I went for it with this guy. He may be able to get his hands on one as the copyright laws may not be as strict in Poland. His email address iis/was: tomek.klika@gmail.com.
  23. I think you may have overdone it too - I did that at first as you dont realise how much you are adjusting with each turn. It does make your cheeks clench when it sticks and you are in fast traffic having just changed up! May I suggest that you wind it out again until you just touch the sensor and test again. It is trial and error as you have to be comfortable with it. I have gone back to the thud of the return spring but at least I am not chuffing up my clutch or overdrive. Good luck mate............
