  1. If you already have an uprev licence for the car does that mean you can just use this cable to load new maps without the additional expense? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
  2. Be good to have a few more members up this way
  3. So after the demise of my 27 year old V8 Defender i decided to go for something a bit more more practical as my winter daily. Picked her up from Brighton and the drive back up the road was one of the most relaxing journeys of length that i have taken. Automatic gearbox and cruise control make for seemless motorway miles! Great fun not having to worry about every pothole and if i'll bottom out on a speed bump. The satnav was dated 2006 and tried to send me through a few fields, but a quick search on the forum provided me with an up to date disc. Anyway here she is after a good scrub following her 600 mile inaugural run
  4. get that plate holder removed too. front plate will look 100 times better
  5. Welcome Rick, fair few of us up this way so be sure to give a wave. I found mine locally which was lucky but don't be put off travelling if the perfect one for you is a bit further away. I just picked up a new car from Brighton which i'm pretty sure is the furthest point in the UK from Aberdeen! Also if you do find one that's further away i'm sure there's someone on the forum who lives nearby and could have a look to save a wasted trip.

Tackleberry, it's a place out in Banchory. And sadly he's just failed which means i get a few more days with his wheels, gutted!
  7. Paddy I wouldn't worry, Nismo exhaust with Berk HFCs is one of the sweetest sounds you will ever hear.

    Ollie, they are front- 18 x 9.5" +24 and rear- 18 x 11" +22 - aggressive on a Supra, perfect for the zed
  9. I can second Clarks, they've done all the work on my car since i've had it and i cannot fault them. Nice to see some more zeds up this way

These set him back around £3k and a bit if i remember rightly, not including tyres and a 6 month wait. Better make sure i don't kerb them

She normally sits on a set of 18" Nismo LMGT4s. Tbh the works are the perfect offset etc to sit flush on my car, so at least it makes ordering a new set pretty straight forward!

Mate's wheels are too wide to get on his local garage's MOT ramp so i begrudgingly let him borrow mine. Now of course i'm sorely tempted to buy a set
  13. For full powder coating and refurbing PPS in inverurie is good, £45 a wheel. However The Wheel Specialist in Dyce is better according to friends who have used them
  14. Been having a look at the Pathfinder as a next car, but have read mixed reviews. Some people say it's been a great car and others not so enamoured with it. Has anyone on here had one, any insight towards them, niggles etc etc? Thanks
  15. Wee video from the weekend of us enjoying what little summer we've had this year
  16. Welcome to the forum, hopefully see you out and about!

  18. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=51122&start=30 nothing since the last time it came up
  19. If you can't remove it and are up in the deen i can direct you in the direction of someone who can more than likely shift it for you.
  20. A lot of the guys i work with are from Indonesia, they pay 100%+ on car tax for an imported car, so it's actually cheaper for them to buy a jap car/local manufacturer and modify it to buggery than to buy an imported car. A friend got his whole car retrimmed in leather for $400. Good quality too!
  21. http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/241844_10150917851621150_1648084970_o.jpg Better resolution can be found there had to crop the pics to 1024 for forum. Must add a huge thanks to Zmanalex for providing a heap of parts i was in need of/missing really came through for me as always!
  22. Mine threw these same codes in the winter after having HFC's running since summer. Doesn't seem to like the cold weather. I've just reset them and encountered no problems. Only happens when it's cold.
  23. I did umm and aaah over removing the vents but in the end i'm glad i did. I wanted to go for a fully smoothed over look and felt the vents would have detracted from this. It's an RT kit so didn't feel so bad removing the vents and modifying it!
  24. I took a standard chargespeed rear and sides and had the vents filled in. There is a carbon insert to go in the rear diffuser area, sadly delivery issues prevented it being on quite yet.
