    The threaded studs will align in 5 rotational positions but the wheel will only only fit in one position; that on whch the unthreaded stud slides int the appropriate (additional) hole in the wheel. Unless you have a non-standard (incorrect) spacesaver of course.

    Forgive me if this is a silly question: but are you lining up the locating stud with the appropriate hole? The spacesaver will only fit 'one' way.

    The short answer is 'yes'. The higher rate applies to cars post April 06. The longer answer is; go to the DVLA site type in the vehicle registration mark and the site will show the VED.

    After cutting the carpet paint the edges with Copydex to stop them fraying. (copydex will dry/cure clear.)

    I used paints4U (about £12 for a very generous can)) for stonechips on my GM - the match was excellent, undetectable from the original, was very pleased. They will also make up an aerosol for you it you prefer, just give them your paint code.

    (For soome strange reason my earlier post hasn't appeared) I echo the thanks to Tim for organising the session today; it was great to finally meet some of the forum guys, the zed seems to create a superb community. Full marks to the Meguiers guys, sensible advice and techniques without overly-pushing the products, a pleasure to do business with them.
