Hi there, i saw this in the Flesh the other day, just after it had been resprayed, you had alot of messing around with a previous bodyshop didn't you?? K sprayed my focus last year, and although he's a 3 hour drive from me, i wouldn't go anywhere else! I'm sure this will look great once he's done.

Usually with sat navs you have to wire a neutral eart to the handbrake so you can only adjust it when the handbrake is up, same for watching dvd's all ya do is wire it straight to earth behind the hu to bypass it. As for headunit's i think the pioneers are the best out there by a mile.

IPA = isopropyl alcohol it will remove all traces of polish very easily, i'd imagine you'd need to put some work into using APC

Yo need some ipa and some cotton buds, you can get IPA from ebay

Need less arch gap!! Make sure you get some wax on them to protect them dude!

Thanks.The point of the LP and the black hole was too see how good I could get it without machining it. I applied by PC but with a pretty soft pad for speed. The owner is undecided on the correction front, so he'll see how it looks over the next few months and possibly I'll correct it later in the year. Fair does, how you find the black hole? it's meant to be awesome as a 'filler'

As in Sky TV before any smart comments appear I've just put a Sky box in my bedroom, and the sky plus box makes a god awful buzzing noise, what is this and is there anyway i can shut it up? it buzz's even when the things on standby, and as the plug for it is in the loft i can't turn it off at the plug

Theres a problem with some Pioneer HU's where the RCA lead output units on the headunit need grounding, or something like that, there is a few threads on talk audio about it.

Yeah, i agree that was a mistake on my behalf instead of putting that i should of just put light correction to remove light swirl marks, never mind

Who ever said i was doing correction?? I'm simply doing an enhancement, the Lime prime is a cleanser as you said and that is all i'm doing, which can be applied using a finishing pad to good effect, if i was doing a correction, i'd be using my 3M polishes and different pads, if you look at the scratch i did on part of the fakeindians rear bumper, i used 3m yellow top on a yellow hexologic pad, then refined it with ultrafina on a Blue 3M pad. It would take me alot longer and cost alot more, if people wanted there whole cars done, as you know yourself what kind of prices people charge for correction and the time it takes. I've explained to everyone who's car i've done, that this is not a polish and it's just a paint cleanser, and that in a few months time when the oils that have masked over the light swirls start to break down again that light swirls will start to re-appear.

Really enjoyed todays detail, (was the first 350 i've done where it hasn't rained!) Car gave a massive transformation, and Neil was more then happy with the work carried out, he even let me have a drive afterwards Anyway i'll let the pics do the talking: Heres the car upon arrival: Firstly the wheels were cleaned using autobrite very cherry, the car was then given a good covering of citrus degreaser to strip the car of the old wax, and then given a coat of snow foam which was left to dwell for a few minutes for the snowfoam to drag the dirt and old wax off, Heres some pics neil took of the dirty foam, The car was then re-snowfoamed, then washed using 2 bucket method, dodo BTBM shampoo and washmitt, After the car was washed, and inspected for tar, i found very little tar which meant no need for tar removal The car was then clayed using some Meguires clay and last touch as lube Very little contaminants on the car: Then before i gave the car its final rinse, i did the engine bay, Before: after: The car was then dried, using a varity of drying towels and last touch as a drying aid this time: Before i started on the machine enhancement, Neil asked me if i could take a look at a few bits and bobs round the car and see what i could do with them, this included a few scratches which i tried to take the edge off to make them less visable, and gave the headlights a polish as one was quite cloudy. Scratch before: scratch after: the whole car was then hit with Lime prime to clean the paint wheels completed: exhaust cleaned: The car was then given two coats of Autobrite Addiction wax on the lighter areas, and purple haze pro on the black and carbon areas, The tyres were dressed with turtle was tire gel, and plastics and windows cleaned, Some Finished photos and also a picture of all the beer Neil drank whilst doing the detail Been an absolute pleasure doing this car, can't wait to see the improvemants that are going to be made on it in the near future
