Do you need the hole cat to scrap or just the insides ?? As I still have the insides in a bag mate

Over the weekend I remove my standard cats and smashed the centres out ( basically decatted them ) and it had a honey comb shaped structure then a mass of White fiber in them mate

Is it true if I put compressed air in through the spark plug hole and I hear it coming through the oil sump that my rings are nackerd ? Just it's strange for one bank of cylinders to go all at once . Could it be my stem seal's ??

The white particle's are the fiber's in your cat That have blown out the back ( basically your cat has failed) Well this happened when mine did anyway .

Cheers mate is there any way of telling weather my rings are nackerd or its the oil seals with out striping the engine down completely ?? Just av got loads of smoke coming from the exhaust and oil in all 3 cylinders on the driver side of the engine av removed the hole exhaust and cleaned that ( removed the filter out the cats as one was clogged , so basically decatted ) av replaced the oil with 10-40 which is the thickest the Manual says to use and it's still smokey . I Would like to identifie the fault before I take it to a garage that's all .

Jez that's what am trying it for mate as I think my rings have went in one bank , will 10.50 clog the gap ?? Just trying to prove it with out taking the engine to bits . As the exhaust is smokey as hell Can I pm you what I have done and could you give me alittle advice please??

Change the bulb if that dont work , i think the lights have got a starter and a balast in, If so it sound like either could be faulty but people with a better idea of the light system will be along soon to advise

Don't like the bonnet Can you not just cut a bit out the standard bonnet so it sticks out abit ??

Why dose it not have a stillen or any type of front strut ??

I would ask abby motorsport or one of the company's that have a dyno to see what they say. as many different setup's will have totally different out come's and I think companys like Abby have seen all the different out comes .
