well still no further forward with this nissan are just fobbing me off so it looks like al have to bite the bullit and i have booked it in to a rally car building garage (auto links) in jesmond (newcastle) on the 12th sept to get the engine striped properly (as i tryed my self but got abit nervis about stripping the engine ) wish me luck god no's i need it with this car

get it to a garage quickly (not a dealer tho ) as mine did this before it died . mine was and electrical fault that caused it to be errratic , now cause i ignored it for a few days am paying for an engine rebuild . dont mean to scare you as hopefully your's aint bad like mine just get it checked asap

Cheers al give Abby a shout It's in for suspect bore washing so may have to replace pistons and the heads anyway , would I go for the likes of cosworth branding or is there cheaper alternatives that do the same ( ie am I just paying for the name ?) Thanks again

Hello everyone, My problem is that I have my engine on the bench in a garage and I don't no weather to rebuild stockish or build performance ?? I have to strip it for investigation works to find why it's badly smoking any way so am thinking while it's out why not change a few things . I already have - ams light weight pullys - cosworth intake manifold - k&n induction kit - berk hfc's , stillen y pipe , K1 exhaust What would be worth changing and would give me good gains for my money ? Am thinking along the lines of cam's ect ?? Also what brand would be best ? Sorry about the list of questions just am new to the engine upgrade (rebuild) scene and want the best I can get

am from west denton if u know where that is , u done much to ur z then ? should meet up 1 time with the cars Yeah I no where that is your not far from where I train in benwell . I have done quite abit but no where near as much as what some of the people have done on here . My car is poorly at the moment it's in a garage getting looked at for excessive smoking ( either steam seals or piston rings ) but as soon as it's done I am up for meeting up .
