  6. http://niklowe.blogspot.co.uk/2011/04/don-you-just-love-raf.html Can't both be genuine. But both can be fake.
  7. The policeman was arrogant. He was quite happy to be weary of other vehicles and move out of their way and the Ferrari was no different. He has to take responsibility for his own safety and actions. He actually moved closer to the Ferrari rather than the other way around. The guy, who probably has the cash, will have a good lawyer and sue the police officer and the police department for all he can. The police officer will has a buggered foot for the rest of his life. Was it worth it?
  8. I agree and I would add cyclists to that when you're talking about central London. I work on the Strand and the number of times I've seen them put themselves and other people in danger is incredible. As for the div in the video I agree with one of the earlier posts that it looks like he might have thought he could go between the trucks and then realised he couldn't. Muppet. London is just a relatively small place given the number of people living there with small roads for all the forms of transport. Cycles, Bikers, Cars, Buses, Lorries, Vans they are all there trying to share that same 10ft wide bit of road. As much as cyclists want to go for every gap because they think its their prerogative to overtake in traffic, cars do also think on roads where it open up a bit they have to get back past. All that said, having been both in the saddle and in the seat, cyclists are definitely more in number in utterly shocking road use. From ridiculous attempts to undertake (I am turning left at a roundabout at Richmond bridge the other day and a cyclist tried to cut up the inside of me and go straight over instead of just waiting. All they way up to plain ignorance like on Priory Lane in Roehampton where the council went to great lengths and expense to build a cycle lane on the pavement, so taking space away from pedestrians, only for cyclists to completely ignore it and still cycle in the road at 15mph up the hill because they all have their yellow jerseys on with Sky written on them or something thinking they are Tour de France entrants. Totally! Hardly anyone on a bike uses the numerous cycle lanes around here. Totally agree with this. Cycle lanes are put in for the safety of the cyclist at the expense of our council taxes! Seriously one bug bear that really pisses me off to be stuck in a queue of cars that can't go round a cyclist when there is a perfectly good empty cycle lane right next to them!
  9. I see bikers everyday all of which flout the speed limits in 30 and 40 zones. Overtaking vehicle, weaving in and out. This guy got what was coming to him. Why he didn't take the small hard shoulder is beyond me.
  10. Either someone nicked my RV55 black GT or there are two of them! I was in the office in Basingstoke all day.
  11. The RAC is just as bad come renewal time. Just play them off against each other quoting their new customer prices and they will quickly match it.
  12. Cut your legs off. Itching stops immediately and the second positive is that you won't be bitten there ever again! FTW!
  13. The whole point of software RAID with nas4free is not to use a raid card surely? As long as your motherboard has enough Sata ports.
  14. I'm now considering switching to nas4free - a free software based NAS. Build my own, not tied to any specific vendor.
  15. Did you try a sector by sector clone/backup/restore?
  16. If you want to record programs to watch later you will probably want Sky+. That's £10.50 or so a month extra too. If you get that, they will give you the HD package for free.
  17. The first one - the polishing pad. The black one I rarely ever use. Probably use the black one to remove zaino z2 if I ever get round to putting that on again now that I use gtechniq c2.
  18. No I haven't used it myself. Personally I wouldn't use C1 as it forms a hard layer. If you get it wrong or want to remove it you have to polish it out with a machine polisher. Also, it will set in the microfibre cloths that you use. If you reuse the cloths, you will scratch up your car. So you must get rid of them after you have used them. I have used C2 though and that had good beading that lasted well. I haven't trialled it properly to give a good judgement yet. They have brought out C2V2 though which is supposed to be even better, I have used Zaino Z2 Pro. This can't be put on in temperatures under 14 deg C so not much use in the winter. So this winter I have been using C2. Zaino can take ages to cure and three coats can take most of a day. So a whole weekend is needed to do it properly but the results are fantastic and it lasts 6 months with great beading. My intention is to use Zaino when it gets warmer as the finish is really good with 3 coats and then use C2 in the colder months as a quick sealant.
