  6. Folks - The change track button on the steering wheel is in a constant "down" position.. If I push up the button does indeed make the HU change track to the next track.. However as its then constantly down I cannot go back to the previous track.. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Is there anything that can been replaced or is it a case of a new steering wheel? Everything else is perfect on the car so I can't let something so little be broken..
  7. all depends on your tyres and he may not have been a good driver but more a case of not driving to the conditions..
  8. I assume your using 97ron + petrol? using 95 causes the knock sensor to be disabled after 5000(I think) rpm...
  9. Infrastructure Consultant.. fancy name for IT guy get to play with high end computing equipment install, configure and support it
  10. I'd take the money and buy yourself something else mate. It will never be right and getting it to that stage will ruin the car for you. Also don't forget come renewal time they will bone you sadly so it may be time to down size especially with the petrol rises and tax rises on the way?
  11. Works out dearer if I was to get it now.. I think you lose a month if you cancel early so to speak and we only got 6months in January... so to save £15 I'd lose £36!
  12. I was speaking to a guy in our office he was saying it goes up at 6pm tonight!
  13. Haha behave! although if you watch mythbusters it turns out you can polish a turd... ...I'll get my coat
  14. Hah true but its not £475 which is not nice! ah well I'll just have to not spend as much on detailing crap! Because my cars Dec 2006 I pay the higher tax *gutted* but that's only one and a half rear tyres.. lol If you pay on the 30th and it starts on the 1st I'd say you pay the new rate however if you buy today you might get the lower rate? however you'll lose a months tax.. you could phone and ask them
  15. MY dec 2006 is due a years road tax in June I'm gutted! Does anyone know what its going up by so I can work out what the new prices will be?
  16. Wow such a change! looks great fella!
  17. andlid where are you doing track days out of interest?
  18. Correct Rota GTR 19x10" all round.. theheff you should be able to wet sand the bottom plastic lip and the bumper lip may polish out?? does not look like your down to the plastic so if your planning to cover it wet and dry it with 3000 grit and try to polish it out first just be very careful with the wet and dry (only move it one way not cross the rubbing and only go over it a few times). Once dry the car will go all matt give it a good polish and then a good sealant you might be surprised!!
  19. Lovely car waslooking at a TTs before buying the 350z but the price wasn't worth it for me.. maybe in a few years!
  20. My insurance in Northern Ireland is coming in at £1208/year I'm 24 with 4 years NCB and driving for 6.. Car worth £8k and declaring mods springs, exhaust, wider wheels, bigger wheels and air filter (pop charger) Its £400 a year more then my RenaultSport Clio 197.. I'm happy with the quote as insurance is usually silly expensive over here! Before I bought the car I was getting quotes for £930 but the price naturally went up and when I declared the mods it went up by another £150..
  21. The previous owner wrapped mine... looks great
