  1. Was looking here : http://users.tinyonline.co.uk/gswithenbank/collnoun.htm I like a Shiver of Sharks - so I shall go for a Shiver of Zeds - as the V6 burbles give you the shivers when one stamps on the go pedal.
  2. If you do get something sorted Worcs way, drop me a PM Only just over in Bidford on Avon, so not far at all
  3. If another trip gets arranged for later in the year (August / September?), I'm game. Want to get plenum / remap / brakes tweaked first ideally, and maybe a couple of track days in the UK sorted out. My condolences to Ian too.
  4. Oh I don't know about that..... Me neither Bought my Z with house deposit money - still have equity in current house, so it's all gravy
  5. As above - angry, hungry dogs work a charm. Oh, and a couple of empty 12g cartridges on the telephone table too.
  6. I get a lot of the OP's spec list by wedging my Samsung Galaxy Tab in the cubby hole - it's a perfect fit! Tho I do still want a full-blown in-car PC at some point for more flexibility.
  7. Is there an easy / recommended upgrade to HID for the main beams at all? My UK GT already has HID on dipped beam of course, would like the extra lighting from the full beam too if poss. I see some kits on eBay like this one : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/H7-SLIM-LINE-XENO ... 0525573673 ..but unsure if they're trying to sell me something I already have!

  11. Well, I used all my kit at the weekend - fabulous result Would have taken a picture this morning, but she's covered in frost. I bought the Red Mist too - I thought it was an in-between-waxes type of cleaner rather than a post-wax operation? If not, I'll get on that tonight after work
  12. I did one side OK, just couldnt get the top mount off the other side. Bench grinder worked a treat to remove the bottom bracket
  13. Aha - just found a a how-to from an American site that was linked from the video page : http://www.350zhatchshocksandmore.com/INSTALL.html I need to cut the strut off the old bottom mount apparently, bum.
  14. Got a new pair from SGS, and can't remove the old ones :S will have to check that video on youtube out later - it's blocked here at work Managed to get the threaded end off the boot lid, but can't get the ball released from the socket of the strut yet. ho hum.
  15. I dunno if its just me, but when I read that advert, the voice I get in my head is : Other than that, nice motor, if a little much on pricing - perhaps he built in bartering space on that
  16. Gents, Just to piggy back onto this thread - I have never detailed a car, or gone through more than a simple wash / polish / wax. Now I am a newbie to the Church of Zed, but I feel that may ginger baby needs to be looked after more than anything else I've had before, so have been lurking on this here part of the forum trying to soak up info and methods like a sponge. So - attached should be my shopping list at i4detailing. Would this suffice for a complete n00b like me? Would I struggle to get on with / use the products listed? Any suggestions / alterations? Cheers, Andy
  17. I searched for all data containing "350z" and told Chrome to remove it - restart Chrome and bosh - all done Definitely works Josh, give it another whirl?

  21. Must admit, I thought it had lost its way in recent times, but I find the challenges much more entertaining than the studio stuff. Still have the Polar Challenge saved on the Sky HD box!
