A; have you done the set-up? B;make sure the plugs are fitted correctly, very easy to get them to fit the wrong way round. C; ensure the plugs are fully "home"

These recalls are just a way of garages getting customers cars into the workshop so they can go over them and then recommend bits they think need replacing. Rip off IMO.

I have some Mints lying about.....

After applying for a RFL refund, and getting the tax disk and V5C declaration, into the post prior to the month end(August), as of today I had heard nothing from DVLA. I have been expecting 6 months RFL refund...... Called them today, well, just a minute ago, only to be told that they have received the Refund V14 application, but Not the Part of the V5C from the log book. How strange, they were posted in the same fricking envelope So, DVLA have sent me out a "letter" which i must declare that I am no longer the owner of the Zed, Fair enough, but was told that the refund wouldn't now be six months worth but 5 months refund.... ...I am raging with anger, DVLA ARE SH!T.......... So my advice to anyone who has sold their car, any car, and sent off that piece of paper from the V5C log book, to make a follow up phone call within a week to make sure they have received it. If I could type my real anger on here I would be banned............

That doesn't account for the lack of interest in static meets..... How come? They still need to drive there For me, It would cost me £50 min to drive to the Old wise Owl from my house and back, plus lunch and a couple of drinks, I was spending £65 for an afternoon out. Yes, its a good thing to have meets and meet friends new and old, but I am sure most guys running a zed have other commitments on weekends. Any one fancy a Port Solent meet????? Might be a MercZed kinda meet though...

Maybe the cost of fuel has something to do wit it colin?

It may have misaligned holes, crap welds, poor quality materials, incorrect bends, etc etc......

Did you reverse the car???? Doubt its anything, just running rich for that initial start up. Thats the exhaust being sucked into the cabin....
