  1. Cheers Wasso. Think I'll switch on the next tank.
  2. Not that I'm baised, but why does everyone want the GT pack?! Leather hot in summer, cold in winter; heater and leccy controls, only something else to break. And yes they are slippy. You'll never see a proper track car with leather seats. Cruise control?! Don't think I need to say anything other than, it ain't a Mercedes. Bose and Non-Bose are both rubbish as each other anyway. Rant over Bradders
  3. So how long does it take the ECU to adjust? I'm running Normal all the time but if does give better MPG over costs at the pump I'll switch. Bradders
  4. I haven't no but as the rear washer is working fine I'm assuming its the pump, as its failed before. I shall give it a try though thanks. Nothing ventured and all that..
  5. The thing is as soon as a sponge makes contact the dirt has nowhere to go being a flat surface, and stays between the surface and the paint. Rinsing after is too late. With a mitt, being big and fluffy(mmmmm) the dirty has somewhere to go away from the paint, hopefully no swirls. But hey thats just MHO I tried your clay procedure btw, just seem to have a problem getting it off the wheel, and also have creepy images of Patrick Swayze Bradders.
  6. Agreed. Coincidently I went down to Croft last weekend in one, an estate version. They are fast, comfy and to my mind are a classy looking motor. Bradders.
  7. Have to agree with Rich on this. Family is the only thing that matters, period. Cars are only bits of metal in the big scheme of things, though it might not seem like that now. Get it repaired, and show you are the bigger man. People who do that are only trying to get a rise out of you. Don't let them win by getting angry. Just shrug it off and show them you aint bothered. Bradders. PS Mind you putting a camera up would be wise
  8. You'll never know how clean a car can be until you clay it. I was hooked immediately. The feel of the paintwork after is literally like glass. Great guide. Good pics too. Speak a thousand words and all that. Bradders.
  9. Aye they must be a nightmare for peeps who like to keep a nice car, but I like this seeing the road as I drive thing. I'm funny like that Bradders

    Nismo Exhaust

They are rubbish exhausts . To be kind to you though I let you swap it for my stock one Bradders
  11. I would also like to know if the snow foam lances will fit the halford pressure washer before I go buy one, anyone get an answer on this yet??? Found out yesterday that the Halfords HP1500 takes the Kew/Alto fitments Bradders.
  12. Still can't find this bloody fuse. I looked in the fusebox in front of the battery under the main cover. All fuses were intact. Is there another fusebox in there I'm not seeing? Its getting to be one of those things that is starting to niggle a bit now. Must fix it Bradders.
  13. I just get bored of cars quickly, not that I like them any less. Z is the first performance car for me and I ain't going back to a humdrum. Hear that missus!! I have already looked a couple of times on pistonheads so far. Just getting ideas. For me I'm thinking Maserati 4200 GT with a Larini exhaust, only cause they look and sound like a gentleman's Ferrari; let the flame begin on that Though I know a Cayman/996 will tempt me. Bradders.
  14. Very Nice indeedy. A modern Lotus Carlton at last. Think it needs a bit of Lexxing though. Do they do a charger for it? I think they do..... Bradders
  15. You can get a 3.5mm jack or iPhone connector conversion put straight into the tape circuit. So when you hit the tape selector the music will stream from your IPod/Mp3 connecter. R35Lee does one for instance. Bradders.
  16. belongs to the forum really and as long as it promotes the club thats all that matters. Yes shame that. I think the IP rights would have made me a millionaire already. I just nicked the idea from another popular site, which has an obsession with pies, Smudge. Rich has done all the hard work. As he says its all good for the club. Bradders.
  17. Welcome to the forum There is a slide on either side of the cradle. Steady it with one hand and slide it away with Thumb and forefinger of other hand. It will them lift out. Your can then put bluetooth module in there if you wish. No you can't stream music through the stereo I'm afraid. I'd suggest getting a 3.5 mm tape conversion done and stick it in the cubby hole above the stereo which i had done. Bradders.
  18. I picked up a HP1500 a couple of days ago, as I at last am getting an outside tap fitted. Keen to get a snow lance for it and looked on http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/ from a previous thread and the Kew/Alto one seems to be it but not 100%. Anyone know what make of connector they take that has one of these? Bradders.
  19. Ah ha!! That's why my bloody tiler hasn't turned up Beautiful work on that GM; makes my efforts on mine look poor, but some great tips there I'll use myself and have left me inspired. Bradders
  20. This is awful 2 people on the forum I get on so well with have sold their Zs. Is it something I said?? Grats on a great car Rich. A S2k was on my list but didn't want to leave a softie on the driveway and I needed a bit bigger boot. If I'd had a garage might have been different. I think the S2k is an exquisite car but they couldn't be anymore different from the Z. Look forward to the pics. If you go on the S2k forum I want royalties from the Username sticker idea mind Bradders
  21. At risk of a highjack.. What's your opinion on that Andlid?? Bradders
  22. I came from a Merc E class to the Z. Now that was a culture shock You will adapt and yes I felt the Brembo initially felt poor, but they are progressive and there is plenty of bite there is you need it. They just aren't on off switches like some cars. Me I'm now used to it and prefer it. Bradders
  23. Nice Cragus! Love a black Zed. I was too impatient and got a GM, but happy with it all the same. I think the VBH test on Fifth Gear of the rev up Z made me the want a Ebisu/Kuro the most. Love the soundtrack from Revered and the makers on that too. Bradders
  24. Don't think you'll get much response on Nissan servicing here. I've nothing but bad things about them. My advice would be find a specialist on here to do it, someone who really knows the Z. Nice car btw! Bradders
  25. I use Dodo Prime Lime to polish after a clay. Must polish first; the difference on a GM is oustanding. Smells nice too. Then Dodo Supernatural Wax. Try a panel pot of it, it goes quite a long way. Red Mist is then good to keep it topped up and beady. Tim, as said, will sort you for both. Mer is just not in the same league I'm afraid. Bradders.
