  1. You need to get it back to the seller ASAP! After 4 days they can't claim it's natural wear from you driving it. Leave it any longer and your position will only weaken. Only way to fix it is replacement or skimming. If they are skimmed they MUST be done when they are on the car, although I would insist they replace with OEM. Expect resistance but stick to your guns.
  2. I'm fairly certain this is uneven runout on your brakes causing contact. I only know because I've had the exact same thing. It may, or may not be related, but this seems to be a regular thing with EBC discs. Do you know what brand you have? If they are normal, non slotted discs then I would get them down to a specialist and have the DTV measured. Are you getting any vibration when braking from high speeds?
  3. Been in sales for over 10 years. As a rule you can assume to earn about 20% less than the quote OTE bonus. If you taker the job just be sure that you're not the bottom performer (top is best ) and always bring more gross profit than what your basic amounts to. If you love what you sell thats always going to help to as it will come across when you pitch, like it or not.
  4. Originals are rare as hends teeth these days. There are some good replicas available from somoe of the traders on here!
  5. I think they look Where you get em?
  6. Interested in the result of this as I want one too.......
  7. Sent Middlehurst an email asking if they still do that install and supply and what it costs now. I'll post their response when I get it back.......
  8. Good to hear that and I eat my words happily!
  9. Spoke to Mark @ Abbey recently as I was toying with the idea of going S/C and was told roughly £9k for a supplied and installed HKS kit with remap.
  10. I'm doing the great london swim in 2 weeks. Have to say the location and non green water look more appealing for the north swim! Good time for breaststroke! Think I did 32 last year with a mix of crawl and breaststroke.
  11. £5500 - £6000 sounds about right.
  12. I'd say your first mistake was going to Nissan - but perhaps I'm being unfair?
  13. Sounds ominous, but surely you mean the Sun. In the middle of a sentence using a caps like 'The Sun' could only mean the cheap newspaper. Seriously though, the recent thread on grammar and spelling has unleashed the OCD in me. I need help or someone's going to bottle me.
  14. I've been looking to get one but the only half decent one's I can find on reg transfer are £700+. Just can't justify it at the moment (gutting house and doing full refurb and extension). Are there better places than 'regtransfers' to get a good cherished plate?
  15. +1 Think thats likely the best offer you'll get, heartbreaking though it is. However, if you want a 370Z you're better off holding onto your 350 for now because, although it will continue to depreciate, the 370 will depreciate more of it's value. Keep the 350, don't spend too much more on it and save some pennies, then in a year you'll have alot better deposit for a lower mileage 370. Make sense?
  16. Looks like a great buy and a great price! GLWTS
  17. Surely it would just be easier to buy a GT in the first place?
  18. Missed it! Was meant to go and watch it at my mates (rennovating house so no TV at present) but the gimp blew me out to go and watch it at his parents! Not happy!
  19. Firmed of mine also had one. Looked completely stock but had a supercharger and was pushing out 450bhp on stock internals. A beast!
  20. +1. Havnt had one myself but I see the appeal. Think in 18 months I may try and sort myself a GTR.
  21. Just thought I would update. Yesterday I washed, clayed and finally did my first machine polish of the Zed. I was using a DAS-6, yellow light polish pad, Meguirs Ultimate Compound and set to speed 3. I managed to reduce the appearance of some defects, swirl marks and small scratches, but not completely eliminate them as I had hoped. Not too dissapointed as I wanted to take it easy first time rather than risk feking up the paintwork totally. Feel confident enough to use the medium polishing pad next time and a slightly higher speed. I did use my black finishing pad to apply Meguirs Nxt Gen Tech Wax, which I thought made the process alot easier, especially making sure I didnt apply too much. Nice and easy to get a thin layer! p.s would post a couple of pics I took but I can't figure out how to add images. any advice or a link to the guide on how to?
  22. Damn good cars! They leave me totally cold but no doubt it's a well engineered piece of kit.
