  1. Well done! I'm glad you walked away from the Stillen SC one and I guessed you did as it was readvertised! Did you manage to get your deposit back??
  2. Not bad... How about this one? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p 54 plate ok but done less and cost less and I am sure there is room for haggling. The bolster looks less worn on this one compared to the one you listed I got a 55 plate Azure blue for a touch more than the one you listed but mine had <20k miles
  3. How much was it and where did you make the purchase?
  4. Looks like this is back on the shelf: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p Did OP manage to get his money back??
  5. For me the S2000 was more expensive to run (as you have to have it in VTEC to get the most enjoyment out of it) I got a nice refund against the zed from insurance when I changed. However if the zed had the gearbox of the S2000.......
  6. I went from CTR to S2000 and 350z My S2000 was £405 per year tax The zed i got is a 55plate with onyl £215 per year tax. Yes it may only be peanuts to some people to pay the extra £200 per year for facelift The differences for facelift is nicer headlamps, LED rear lights and centre console and door cards are a bit more practical but asthetically very little different. I do much prefer to pay £215 per year as oppose to £405 per year as I have £200 extra to spend on mods! Having said that my personal circumtances are that I have a house to pay for on my own and I am not a huge money maker so whilst I could afford to pay for £400 i'd prefer to pay £215 and have the extra money for mods
  7. I second that! If only I could skip one mortgage payment for this!
  8. I have a plastic flat bladed tool which I swiped from Volvo back in the Tracking/Car HF kit install days which I will use!
  9. Thanks guys only reason I am doing this is that I still get an annoying rattle + the stupid cricket noise and I think I pinned the rattle to the top right corner of the boot (when opened). When I lightly thump it when it is opened near the spoiler area there is a faint rattle of some sort and it it buggin me to death when I am driving!
  10. I've tried search but perhaps not using correct criteria I am referring to when you open the boot, the panels on the boot lid that conceal the rear wiper motor
  11. ANyone know how to do this? Are they just clips to remove the inside plastic boot panel?
  12. Did anyone do this by anychance? I did this yesterday and it was my first 10K run I have ever done for Charity I hate runnning but enjoyed every moment of it! Did it in 1hr and 3min which is not bad for my stumpy leg!
  13. Nik Try and get your money back. I would take a snapshot of the ad for record and approach them and claim it was incorrectly advertised. Trading standard comes to mind if they dont play ball. Its just not right advertising incorrect or false information! Worse case scenario £250 lost is probably better than £2500 lost due to remedial works on the car! If you had to spend that kind of money fixing it then you've almost forked out New Supercharger money! If you are unsure about a Zed ask the chaps on the forum. I got a couple of lads to have a look at a Zed in Glasgow for me before flying up there to make the purchase!
  14. Yes I believe there is viewtopic.php?f=27&t=38390
  15. Thanks very much, i might just take you up on that... I know milton keynes is a bit of a trek from hampshire but a spirited drive on the A34 to MK its quite a nice drive! I went to four marks last year to pick a car up! OR guidance over the phone if you brave enough to do it!
  16. Nice! Was it a straight swop on headlights?
  17. Very easy to do esp with the JVC unit. Giving that if I had to do it again i reckon i could do it sub 2hours! Zugara if you are really stuck and need a hand let me know!
  18. Sold to Mr Zugara Mods can lock this thread now. Cheers
  19. I've just notice that too! Looks more like they have cut it in half! He hasn't taken possesion of the car yet I believe so can still walk on this one? Sure the OP has grounds to pull out of the deal given the fact the information supplied is incorrect? (ie the Full service History that the ad claims!)
  20. did you butcher the original speakers and used them as spacers?
  21. I would walk away personally with all the past problems its had. I dont think it is worth the risk! I'm sure the SC boys will confirm that they have not experienced problems of this nature. either that or its not been looked after or setup properly with correct components hence the failures. Or it has been driven within an inch of its life! Why not buy a standard example and personalise it yourself! There will be much more satisfaction knowing you done it and what has been done to it!
  22. Hi Guys I have a Brand New Incartec 29-674 Bose Interface Loom and Steering Wheel Adapter Plug for JVC Head Units 29-004 Bought last week from sextons and never used £33 Delivered Save yourself a tenner from the cost this from Sextons (when you've added everything on their site plus the postage this would cost £43.47 in total) Cheers Martin
  23. I play the Berimbau if any of you know what one of those is! Will have to get a new pict taken as I bust my old one
  24. Dimmer links to Red/Blue on the Zed stereo harness so when you put lights on it dims the stereo Amplifier ground can just go to ground!
