  1. Oooo I'm in Luton on Mondays training and usually come off J11 on M1! I need some new tyres on my rear so will be getting some. Mind if I hop on the offer?
  2. How about this one which is the 2010 version of the one your posted? http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/jvc-kwavx730.html You will need adapter leads however for your steering wheel controls to work. The JVC should work well with Bose Amp as it has 5v line outs! I dont think the factory bluetooth will work with it however but I'm sure some of the guys will point out if this is the case! I was going to go for the AVX830 when I have some more dosh!
  3. Guys What was the issue with using LED type indicators?? Is it the low current consumption with makes the car think a bulb has blown?
  4. I know some people said they can be dim so we shall await and see if this is the case with these bulbs!
  5. Ordered yesterday and arrived this morning Bought 2 pairs(4 bulbs) from: http://www.body-kit.co.uk/product.php/1312/0/bulbs-indicator-chrome-amber-12v-21w-t20-capless-pair for a grand total of £14.10 delivered Bargain for me! Thought I'd share with all
  6. I meant loses the mudguards all together and get some nismo skirts and get those painted! Not high priority on my list as I have other things I want to do to it!
  7. You can HPI using the text check function on your moby phone. Just send the reg number to 83600 and it cost £3.50 from what I remember As for inspection. A forum member is a very good bet as they know the more intricate details and faults to look out for! I am a testamont to using forum members to inspect a car for me which saved a wasted journey into Scotland!
  8. Scorpion are a pretty good bet! Seen one on neilp's car and quality looked spot on and sounded ace!
  9. UPDATE on this: Fixed! Issue was I found that the glass needed adjusting. It sat a touch lower on the side closer to the handle so had to loosen the bolts on the right securing the window to the running and pushing up a touch! The screeching was the edge of the window rubbing againt a part of the metal on the door itself! So when the window was all the way down and I close the door it would rub against the metal edge!
  10. Well if I need paint then I may as well remove them at some point and get the skirt painted! Or wait until I get some nismo skirts and then get them painted!
  11. Its 12 years corrosion warranty! I had a look at taking those mud guards off and I think they are better on as where the mudguards meet the skirt the paintwork needs attantion cos of the rubbing!
  12. Mr Hoosky has kindly told me what LEDs he used to do this so gonna order some from farnell and attempt the door switches. If I can desolder SMD LEDs off a mobile phone PCB board and replace them I'm sure this wont be too difficult! Gonna attempt a Blue theme with some white BTW is that a warm white or bright light LED you have gone for?
  13. I think the when you see the beading on the bonnet and the pattern it makes as it runs down is a testoment to the elbow work you have put into waxing it so you kinda forgive the fact the it has been raining
  14. Well I just thought the place where it is bubbling cant be done by anything so surely it must have bubbled on its own accord! Stone chips and scrapes I understand but I dont see what outside influence bar weather conditions could have done that! May get a pics of it up at some point
  15. Loving it thanks! Just installed a popcharger but not really noticed much difference in sound I have discovered a few more paint issues since cleaning it but you kind of expect it being 2nd hand and not enthusiast owned I have noticed that the top bit of the front window where is meets the roof there is a patch of bubbling Do nissan have a limted period of paint warranty on the car or am I just gonn have to grin and bear it?!
  16. Thanks for this! I know there are 3 bolts which are revealed that secure the window to the mech when you wind the window down As for the securing of the mech itself, I'm assuming none of the bolts are concealed (bar the discs maybe?)
  17. A Car Detailer will be able to DA polish those swirls out! Or look on detailing forums. They will tell you what needs to be done
  18. Would it be the 3 bolts that secure the glass to the mechanism that you tightened or the actual mechanism secure to the door that requires tightening? Cheer and thanks for the tips
  19. Having done a window reset I still have wind noise at high speed (touching 3 figure sum for speed) One thing I have noticed on drivers is when the window is wound right down and I open and close the door the window rattles quite bad with a kinda of squelch noise. This isn't apparant on the passenger side door The noise I think is coming towards the side closest to the outside door handle. Has anyone had this problem and know what the root cause is and how to rectify it?? Cheers :thumb:
  20. 2006 GT With Black Nismo Wheels This seems like a really good deal on a 56 plate GM GT with Black nismo wheels It doesn't disclose mileage which leads me to believe that it must have done quite a bit for that asking price. But then again the seat bolster doesn't look that worn!
  21. I thought C&A went busted ages ago!!!! Clearly not!
  22. No because that is listed for the right side passenger!
  23. The facelift ones have trays and not cup holders (Sure this was the case when I looked at Craigus motor) TBH I have the cup holder and I dont think it is all that great. I put a can in there and it sits on the ****
  24. Top Gear in St Albans were the creme de la creme back in the days of when custom made exhausts took off! If anything they were one of the first to provide such service! Might be worth dropping it over there and I'm sure they can sort something out
  25. Welcome buddy! I've just sold my S2000 and got a 350Z. You wont be disappointed! I certainly wasn't Happy Hunting!
