  1. I manage to hit 35mpg doing around 68-70mph. Had a full tank when leaving the sellers and I clocked up over 300miles and still have just under quarter of a tank left. Cost me £60 to fill up (but it did have some fuel left in it) So you do the maths.... is it cheaper for you to fill car up and motor down to Abbey and put some mileage on car or pay to get it down on low loader Why you call breakdown assisantance and say you car is conked and the garage it needs to go to for repairs is Abbey!! Thats half the roudn trip sorted for you!!
  2. Well looking at how they advertised the custard Zed, Clearly they dont know what they are on about!! Arguably that may well have worked in your favour when purchasing the Zed!! I still think you are very jammy to have met half way to swap Zeds!! not fair!!!
  3. Well I am back home in bed now!! Journey wasn't as tiring as I thought. Zed is definitely a comfort cruiser with some good bumpf behind it!! If I take away all the loo/break visits I had, I complete my return home is sub 6hrs with no heavy foot action! Not bad me thinks! Now time to pass out for a bit!
  4. Well they certainly didn't hang about getting your old Zed back on the shelf for sale!!! http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201023360613227/sort/datedesc/usedcars/transmission/manual/price-to/17000/maximum-mileage/up_to_60000_miles/body-type/coupe/model/350_z/make/nissan/radius/1501/postcode/mk57dp/page/1/searchcontext/alert?logcode=p Yellow one is much nicer esp with the Nismo Wheels!!!
  5. I am having a coffee at my first service station stop off and I've barely made a dent on the mileage back home! One the side note it was great to meet all you guys (and girl!) in the land of Scots! Zed initiation does not get any more welcoming than that! Big thanks to Neil and Craig for inspecting the car and another shout for Craig karting me to my new Zed! It was quite clean when I got to it! And to say I was gonna find my way to Kilsyth well...........jugding by today I could have some it up in 3 words if Craig didn't fetch me which was "Aint Gonna Happen" Anyway, gonna finish off the coffee and continue with my long journey!
  6. I is now waiting in the Airport lounge for my flight to Glasgow!! Woop!! Weather is poo over here but hopefully it will only be a one way flight!
  7. Guys, its your turf so I leave you to decide whats best! Just make sure you dont do a bogus one and I end up in the Shetlands somewhere! A meet would be awesome. I'm sure I will find ideas to put a bigger dent in my wallet with mods after have a look at some of the zeds!!
  8. This may well be replicated again tomorrow with my potential purchase! And hopefully catch a few of you guys in the neck of the wood while the opportunity is there to say hello!
  9. LOL How strange Part exchaging a zed for a zed! Be a nice looooong drive back up for you! That is what I may be dreading potentially tomorrow as I will be heading up to your neck of the woods to see a Zed tomorrow! Giz - I picked my zed up a year ago yesterday from Southend in Essex - and drove her all the way back to Fife. I can remember feeling a wee bit wary of my first experience in the RWD zed being a 500mile trip but it was great fun NJOY!! Just how long did a 500Mile trip take you?? The RWD is not an issue for me as my S2000 was RWD. I've just never driven for that kind of distance of period of time! Google worked it to be at least a 6.5 hr journey!
  10. You won't find a unti that does all that howver you will find a unit that will allow those options through add ons A double DIN option will easily give you the ability to add all those bits on Try www.Caraudiodirect.com[\URL]
  11. LOL How strange Part exchaging a zed for a zed! Be a nice looooong drive back up for you! That is what I may be dreading potentially tomorrow as I will be heading up to your neck of the woods to see a Zed tomorrow!
  12. Wicked purchase!!! Shame about the numberplate if the last 3 letters read what i think it does from the ad!
  13. http://www.myshowplates.com/designer1.asp I got my chopped down number plate done here very cheaply compare to other places I have looked round I think a plain set cost me about £23 delivered (this was over a year ago)
  14. I may be wrong on this one but judging by the dark bricked wall and the reflection on it I'd say that pic is taken by DW fitness in MK!!
  15. I think Plain and Simple is the way to go (Sorry will have the same setup when I get the Zed!)

    PRM CAI

prm intake is mighty noisy! And thats about it for the S2000. Gains were negligable but grins was infinite! Not sure how this would fair up on the zed though
  17. Man how many Zeds do you have??? And to get another????
  18. LMAO! Jokes! Less is more by the sounds of things! I could see you had the AA parked up on the side on stanby in case something drops off your car!
  19. If you do make sure you get us another clip! V8 note from a V6 engine!
  20. I second that..... Neilp and Cragus have inspected a car on my behalf in Glasgow and even assisted me with the logistics of it all to help me get around I dont think this level of help could be mirrored by many other forums!
  21. Wow! You went for the kill and bought the car?? I'm in the same position as you lol but I wanted to see the car just to satisfy myself that is what I am parting my cash with! The funny thing is you coming from Glasgow to South whereas I am the otherway round and taking a flight to Glasgow!!! Seems like a good example and its nothing you couldn't sort out yourself
  22. 4v high Voltage output refers to the RCA outputs when connecting to Amplifiers. Sound quality is generally better in the sense that the amp receives a cleaner signal and reduces the need to turn the gains up on them so high so the amp is worked a little less harder. Most normal HU belt out 2v RCA outputs. So if you not running amplifiers and just using the HU power then the voltage of the RCA output is irrelevant. And no, line booster/driver is not required unless you are running loads of amplifiers HTH
  23. Well guys, just an update and I have bit the bullet and booked myself a flight to Glasgow to have a look at the car with a very likely sale Must give a huge thanks to Neil and Craig and I've really had to rely on their (esp Neils) impartial advice on this one particular Zed If they said its good for the year/price then i have ultimately gone with what they have said but I need to see it for myself to satify myself with the money I will potentially be parting with!
  24. I've done the exact opposite and sold my S2000 in bid to look for a Zed. You wont be disappointed with the S2000 it is a truely awesome car to drive and with nice hot weather it is simply sublime!
