  1. Or s it a bumper car, as the aerial seems to be hooked up to the National grid
  2. Good idea, i love my polarizer, specially if there are few whispy clouds to give some contrast and depth. Might do some pics myself i think, i've got a few ideas i want to try.
  3. LOL yeah, i've seen rowing toffs cars up to the doors in Thames before! Thats a lovely area to live in IMHO mate.
  4. I'm no expert but i have different brands at each end Toyo/Bridgestone and have no probs whatsoever
  5. Lovely looking car mate I know that photo location well, we always park around there when we visit The Smoke. Theres a great place for a photo just before Putney bridge, just below the flash bar, on the slipway thats all cobbles. Top gear even used it once i believe.
  6. I once cut in front of a guy because despite indicating to join the 1st lane from the second, nobody would let me in, and i simply ran out of room. I raised a hand to say sorry. Boy, he didn't like it! kept driving at my rear as if he was gonna ram me. I slowed right down once it was back to 2 lanes but he wouldn't pass just sat 1" from my bumper. We stopped at some lights, i see him jump out the car and leg it to my window screaming 'wind the f***ing window down' i was just saying 'errrr why would i do that mate?' he kept on screaming. The lights went green so of i drove with him running back to his car. 5 mins later at a round about traffic lights he pulls up beside me...screaming still! i went round the roundabout twice with him following me Then i remembered the Hants police headquaters were just down the road, so i thought id see if he'd follow me all the way up to reception Unfortunately at that point he wheel span away from the lights around a tight bend almost on 2 wheels. Moral is, there are some freaks out there so be careful! and dont cut in front of them
  7. This is when a car mounted camera would be good you demonstated exemlplory maturity, don't know if i could of done the same, so well done that man
  8. I've been having troubles with my drivers window first jamming then dropping everytime i shut the door. My Dad and i cleaned the motors contacts and this fixed the jamming, for now, but after that it slways dropped when door was shut. I found a new motor from a Nissan dealer in the States for the bargain price of £112! so i ordered one. I then thought my one actually sounds quite healthy now, so i thought i might sell the new one on here. Im glad i didn't! I've been trying the window reset procedure to stop it dropping, with no luck, so pulled it all apart again today and the motor felt very hot. I guessed it has been working a bit to hard just in normal useage, so i thought sod it ill try the new motor.......Hey presto! works perfectly. So that £112 was a good investment. Trouble is now that Kat came home from work last night and says 'you better have listen to the car' so i do.....exhaust blown!! Luckily i have spare in the loft from my last Z that i'd put a Scorpion on The other thing annoying me today is that i discovered a deep scratch in the passenger below the door, looks like its done by a high heel but its too far to the back of the door really so its a bit of a mystery. Good job i have some Nissan touch up. It's making me grind my teeth right now though
  9. Have you ever ridden an RS125? 2 stroke heaven! probably the closest to a real GP bike you can buy, made my R1 feel like a bus through the twisties.
  10. If your going for a 125 then look at the Yam R125, much less gay than the CBR, or, even more hetrosexual is Aprilias RS125......mmmmmmmm bare alloy http://www.flickr.com/photos/kenjonbro/5146521280/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/kenjonbro/4212217418/
  11. Cheers for that mate, not too far from me.
  12. Paul is always talking about himself!! The rest of us are very sensible Welcome to the fun mate.
  13. I think i read somewhere that there is something of the same quality as 3m but is more stretchy for awkward pieces. Sorry i cant remember what its called but someone here might.
  14. Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I have had trouble with my drivers window winding down everytime i shut the door, i have to lean in the passenger side with drivers door shut and wind it up again! I have been trying the reset proceedure in the guides section, i must have tried it 100 times but its not working. it's done several different things but working correctly isn't one of them im afraid. I even drilled a hole in the trim behind the swiches to give better access to the reset button, 'cos its painfull trying to squeeze your fingers up there to press it. Sorry to rant on, but i'm fed up with it Does anyone have any suggestions please? (helpfull ones ) cheers.
  15. Should have slowed down when you had the chance But thats one of the many great things about bikes! Being able to wheelie past speed cameras at double the limit with one finger raised and not getting your plate photographed...........only kidding, honestly!
  16. I think some need the back door open and some have an obvious dark glass panel. So you maybe in luck. I went past one on my bike once with the git aiming his equipment out the back door (bikes dont have a front plate ), as i came past him, he pulled the camera out of the back door and threw the side door open and aimed at my rear numberplate gutted!
  17. ive often wondered about these, after all even quality ones are still just a tube with a filter on the end.
  18. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-350Z-Z33-S ... 9503917c0d
  19. No worries apparently...good for over 100k (if serviced regularly). Just need to check body/interior condition, if your happy with that then its probably been cared for anyway.
  20. Does yours need a 6 foot handle to pump it up
  21. I love Norwegian forest cats. We have a Ragdoll and 2 tabby mongrels, but the Ragdoll has no idea what he is cos he doesn't behave as the breed guides would have you believe!
  22. THREAD OVER!! The seller on ebay withdrew the sale.....git Didn't know you could do that.
  23. I thought there might be some modification required, not a massive issue, my Dads a mechanic . But how loud is it and does it drone when you drive at 70 - 80 mph on the motorway? Cheers.
  24. +1 on that.......the new one we've just had on sounds awesome and the fit is pretty good too. I agree, i had one on the last Z. But i'm still winning the auction for the minute for silly money! It will probably go mad in the last 5 seconds mind you
