Don't ya just feel cool? Don't let it put you off driving it though. Once you get moving its not too bad, but getting it moving is the challenge. A couple things that I have found help me out when driving in the Snow/ice in the zed - When on snow/ice no matter how gentle you are with the clutch it seems to develop a bit of wheel spin when you pull away from standstill, leaving the handbrake on to reduce the torque at the wheels helps a fair bit until you get rolling. I never seem to have any trouble getting traction when reversing, so you can reverse to an area of better traction then get a run up for the slippery bit. If you know your gonna be driving in the snow/ice, reduce your tyre pressures a bit.

There's always a lot of talk of how various exhausts sound and I get asked what the Vortech sounds like, so thought I'd put all my vids in the same place for reference. Maybe if everyone puts theirs in here, we will have one place of reference. My set up is Vortech S/C, Japseed Decats, Invidia G200 True dual with mid pipe resonators. I find this set up aggressive at WOT but very Quiet when cruising and when pottering about. Standing Start with little camera on rear - Lost a bit of bass due to the poor mic, but you get the idea This is how it sounds in the car; A little rev; A drive by; This one Kinetix HFC in place of decats. This is N/A (Supercharger removed) Kinetix HFC, Invidia G200 with mid pipe resonators.

The Invidia G200 True dual is definitely worth consideration when after a quiet exhaust. They are pricey new, but if you can get one second hand it would be well worth it. The build quality is amazing. The early ones had mid pipe silencers and are very quiet when ticking over, cruising and general driving about. Invidia actually got complaints that they were too quiet! So decided to remove the silencers from the mid pipes on the later versions. I have an early one (with the mid pipe resonators) fitted and with HFC or decats it sounds amazing when at WOT but just about audible when cruising. Of coarse the Supercharger makes it a bit louder but I've also run it with the Supercharger disconnected and still sounded great. I'm sure I put some vids on here somewhere. I have a Spoiler Depot 'piggyback' spoiler that retains the stock spoiler and sits over it. I like it because its not too intrusive. As to usable down-force I don't know. I'm sure it give some at high speed. However, the traction issues your getting, or are going to get with the S/C fitted will be at low speed and I doubt any spoiler will make any difference to that. Unless it weighs as much as a bag of cement! Tyres, tyre pressures, wheel alignment, differential and suspension will the things to look at if it becomes a problem.

True, the front hasn't aged very well, but I still think from the rear they are hard to beat. I loved my old one.

Looks like a very nice Kit. Very OEM looking. Looking forward to see the numbers after Mark has done his magic. I wouldn't worry too much about the traction, S/C are very linear and predictable in their power delivery so you just need to be smooth with it. I also have 275 RE050's on mine with the S/C and they're pretty good. Of course you can loose traction when you want, and sometimes when you don't but it'll be fine if your smooth. You will love it!!!
