Ok heres how you do it:- that connection works perfectly. It fits into the bulb holder of the old loom. take off your old lights. Take out the bulb and plug these into the old bulb holder. They did this so they work with both uk and jdm cars Trust me it does fit

If you don't want to spend more than you need to then an independent garage will be cheaper. the service will be the same if not better. Nissan don't do anything special.
