brake fluid will trigger it like a wave action so not necessary at a rev limit. More likely to be a cam sensor or air sensor. Find out what fault code is the first thing to do.
both K2 and blueflame have had reported issues with fitment very recently so do a search and perhaps if still going this route then get a assurance that the trader will do a full refund if the exhaust doesn't fit properly.
