  1. Aboutto take my exhaust apart to fit new y pipe, one the bots are off the back box what is best way to get the rubber mounts on and off? Thought best check before I have half the box on my chest and unable to get the last mount off!!
  2. Another massive +1 for Lockwood and Greenwood, used them for past 2 years and they have been faultless, great price, great service and great knowledge of the car.
  3. I waved at an Azure in traffic as I was coming out of Chester on Friday, I didn't get a wave back but I was in a red Citroen C1 courtesy car at the time
  4. Thanks for the help guys Looks like I shall be going down the replacement option rather than aftermarket, cheers ianphampton
  5. As per my previous thread I now need a new Y pipe. Can anyone let me know if they have a standard or aftermarket Y for sale. Ideally I'm on a budget for this but also starting to look into the different aftermarket options
  6. Got her on some stilts to take a look.... So not the back box that's damaged!! Also the box is out of place now... So looks like I need a new y pipe?!
  7. I finally got lots of little niggly things sorted with my car over the summer, including sorting out the wheel issue due to incorrect fitment of my wheels from certain garage It was great to be mobile in the zed again with no worries so packed her up and took her to leeds with my missus for the week (exotic i know!). On the way back we were just coming up to our street and navigating over the speed bump outside the entrance when BANG! the exhaust caught on the bump and obviously did some serious damage as it started bellowing like no exhaust was fitted at all. I've not been able to take a proper look at it yet in light, but from what i can tell the exhaust is sticking way out from the back and also lopsided so more than likely broke off at some point. Now this speed bump had always givien me slight issues, especially since lowering the car. I know that it's my fault for having a low car with low side skirts etc and the car was loaded up at that time which wouldnt have helped but the bump is actually cobbled which is why the damage has occured. If the bump had been a tarmaced bump then it surely would have just scraped rather than the right angled cobble grabbing my exhaust and ripping it off. I have looked through some legislation on speed bumpbs and other than location, markings, length, height etc etc etc i cannot seem to find anything regarding the material used for construction or the structure of the bump i.e. dont make it like a f*cking roadside curb! Anyone know anything about this? I have written a letter to the council and awaiting there response, just want to get ready for the upcoming argument with them!!
  8. this is the kinda telly when I really appreciate HD!
  9. Lucky you I think its fair to say that his kits were more miss than hit, not to mention the "free" kit give away, shocking customer service and abusive PMs to anyone who dared question the fit of his kit still waiting on my free kit!
  10. doesnt look good at all
  11. tbh i was going to list them them on both websites with cheaper on here for members but they were snapped up pretty much instantly on here mods - you can lock this now they have been sold and sent
  12. i struggled to decide between the two and in the end i went with the eibachs. Spot on for looks and the ride is still fine, only issue is with garages getting jack under but that is partly due to the lower skirts as well. Main problem I have is the fact i now have a spead bump that has been built over the entrance to my street which effectively blocks my way out now!

    FS: RAY's!

I now have my RAYS up for sale They are with tyre's; 3 x Falken 452's with tread but one with a unknown brand that needs replacing. Condition: the rear's are fine with no scuffs or bubbling. The fronts do have some scuffs and bubbling which I have tried to capture in the pictures below. I am starting the sale at £375, although any sensible offers will be considered. Collection preferred but courier can also be arranged. Any questions please fire away!
  14. Will be putting my rays up for sale and wanted to check on rough price they are going for, I've not been on the fprim too much over the previous few months due to other commitments so a little out of the loop! I will be taking the required pictures this week, once it stops raining, and just want a vague idea of starting value. They have 3 legal Falkens on them and some minor bubbling and grazing as usual! Cheers guys!

    350Z Panamera

i dont think this fits into the usual copy category, unless i have missed something and there is already a panamera roadster out there that looks like this? This is more of a twist on an original desgin, not trying to be like anything else as such. I'd never do it myself and also think its a ridiculous waste of m oney - but if you;ve got the money to do it why not have fun and see what you can create?

  17. Could you be a little more precise please? Thanks!
  18. How about..... http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpine-ida-x305s.html
  19. looks great for a DIY job!
  20. without doubt the best is 20mm front and 25mm rear. I tried with 20mm all round and the back still didnt look right, perfect when changed to 25mm at rear.
  21. Tricky one, I'd say go for the JDM as it's cheaper, but then GM trumps Silver. Certainly a conundrum! One thing to check is the spec of each, JDM doesn't have a GT spec so make sure its got everything you want.
